GUILTY UK - Bobbi-Anne Mcleod,18, ‘did not arrive to meet friends’ Plymouth, 20 Nov 2021 *Arrest*

What doesn’t add up is her being attacked, bundled into a car at the bus stop, she would have screamed her lungs out, probably resisted, in a city there would have been many cars driving by

I wonder if he was in a fake police uniform/had fake warrant card, they are all over the place on Amazon and eBay

Pulls over in car, flashes badge, tells her it not safe as there is a violent person on loose in the area, tells her to get into car and he will take her to where she wants, and she does

I highly doubt this scenario for the simple fact of the publicity of Sarah Everard and the advice that was given regarding being approached by a lone and plain clothed officer. I think, if anything, she would have screamed too high heaven and run to one of the houses close by. But anything is possibly I guess…

If you look on google maps it looks a pretty quiet road, there are loads of family homes surrounding it, also at 6pm when it's dark there are probably not loads of people paying attention/can hardly see anything that's going on unless they stopped for a while.

And tbh with you I really doubt that after Sarah's case that anybody is gonna get into a random car willingly. The fact that her belongings were left there does suggest she was quickly forced into a car right there and then.

Unless he bashed her over the head from behind or put her in a chokehold or pointed a gun/knife at her and told her not to scream surely she would have screamed loudly though and someone in one of those houses would have heard screams/a struggle

True re Sarah but a lot of people are not that worldly and streetwise, maybe she was but not everyone is

Wouldn’t have to be plain clothes, police cap/helmet, police/security type jacket, dark clothing, it is very easy to buy a very convincing police uniform online, plus blue flashing lights for a car

I agree it is unlikely but given the lack of screams am thinking out aloud how she could have got into the car

Statistically a rare event is then multiplied by a rare event therefore it is less likely for someone to be very attractive and also very malevolent but by no means difficult. Very charming and attractive people are deemed more trustworthy in psychological experiments and by nature of being not suspicious, can get away with more, both Ted Bundy and Grace Millane’s killer did not struggle for sexual activity - some just have a violent fetish, it isn’t as simple as thwarted sexual desire in incel culture.

so devastated for Bobbi and her loved ones

Nothing more than a thought..but maybe he is the type who is not used to being turned down

The lack of audible screams - does a ftree make a sound when it falls in the wood or does no one hear it - either implies

A) she was grabbed with a hand over her mouth
B) she was willing (less likely)
C) for whatever reason people didn’t have road windows open/were busy cooking and eating at that time, and couldn’t hear
D) the people near the bus stop are deaf!

Another possibility I think is she could have seen his band live, with her hair she looks more like an indie/rock fan as opposed to liking Olly Murs or One Direction and he sounded a mini celeb in the area for his music as the band had won awards

So if he pulled up in his car she might have recognised him and thought he harmless so got in, so while he didn’t know her she might have recognised him from concerts she went to of his band

But, if you are accepting a ride from someone you recognize and trust, why leave your belongings behind?

Unless she'd accidentally dropped some stuff around the bus stop already?

It seems unlikely but why is there a kidnap charge missing?

It did occur to me that because they’ve had to charge him or release him, they have to have a certain threshold of evidence for a charge. They obviously have enough evidence for murder. Maybe kidnap is harder to prove to CPS threshold within 24 hours - Couzens had CCTV footage effectively of the kidnap! And longer to gather evidence for the charge I suppose given length of time they were looking.

He's a really good looking guy. For the first time in one of these instances I'm actually really shocked. I know you realistically can't base anything off of looks, but even the fact he's in a band and seems maybe "known" to the area(?) is actually crazy.

I guess a few things could have happened. Maybe he knew Bobbi/was stalking her and waiting for her around the area or got some info about her/what she was doing somehow. Maybe he asked her out/for her number before and she rejected him because she had a bf. Maybe he saw her while driving past, wanted to have sex with her, she turned him down and he forced/raped her then panicked and killed her. Maybe it was all completely random. There are so many possibilities but I'm sure we'll find out. Still terrible regardless of what/how it all happened.

Rape is rarely about sex, it's about power. This young man could have had sex with any willing girl, would likely have had groupies and plenty of options for girlfriends.

This attack wasn't about sex imho.

I presume it is because her body was found and the Police were looking for her murderer and in other cases they had evidence of a kidnap but without a body could not yet charge for murder .

He hasn’t been charged with rape, unlike Couzens and Relowicz

Every possibility he was just looking for a girl to murder as opposed to rape as surely he will have been charged with rape

According to his instagram he played a gig that same night as murdering Cody, the gig was 6 days ago, same night as the murder

How can anyone go on stage an hour or 2 after taking the life of a young girl and carry on as normal, just unreal

The post he made was on Friday I think? The night before. I can't find any gigs advertised for them that weekend

I think it would be unusual if there wasn't some kind of sexual assault, so I would be surprised if that wasn't a part of the attack, but a part that isn't yet charged. I wouldn't be surprised if further charges follow the murder charge.

I think the reason for no charge of either kidnap or rape is because police haven’t managed to secure evidence of either at present eg no cctv, dna evidence hasn’t been processed yet. All they may have is CA version of events or a “no comment” filled interview to go on. The may have suspicions as to what has happened, but without evidence they cannot charge.

As time goes on and the investigation progresses, more charges may be brought. It’s a waiting game at present.

Hello all, first time poster, been lurking this thread. I saw a comment on YouTube suggesting the victim knew a female family member of her attacker and this information is/was viewable on her facebook friends list. I am not a social media user so can someone else verify please?

Men don't kill and rape because they struggle to get girls. Good looking guys can have sick desires to harm women too.

Yes, Ian Watkins springs to mind
