Or it could have been completely out of the blue
It does sound like there was an amount of velocity involved to cause a fractured skull.
Could only be shaking, throwing or crushing or dropping :(
The former two scenarios likely involving anger/ rage. The latter to could relate to Drug/alcohol abuse I guess.
I'll keep an open mind though. I have known one incident where a Dr dropped a premature baby during delivery and caused brain damage. It happens unfortunately.

Holy moly, assuming the prosecutions facts are correct it sounds like Somerset CC have dropped the ball massively here. There should have been a safety plan for visiting in place before the birth. I'm guessing that didn't happen because Brendon was born early. IMO

Poor little chap 😢

I'm stunned by what was done to that poor little boy. I'm following you baby boy and want to see justice done for you here on earth, but also knowing that we have a higher court in heaven and you don't touch the children. I'm in the Gunter did it court. So much rage and hate. I'm sorry the mother suffered abuse at his hands also and wished she would of been strong and kicked Guntur to the curb.

My sister ( pabs ) has a friend ( 74 years old now) that was dropped at birth by the doctor and suffered brain damage and has the IQ of a ten year old.

Me too. I haven't found much detail around the trial. I would guess they were able to determine she was not present when the murder took place? MOO

1. Him being a cross dresser has absolutely nothing to do with this. Typical DM sensationalism.

2. A court decision can not be actioned until the baby is ready for discharge. A baby can not be placed in foster care whilst still in hospital.

3. Social services have no control on hospital policies. The question is, given the concerns raised, why were the parents given unsupervised access.

4. Who is to blame? The man that murdered his baby. Simple.

All MOO

If the child was in any way 'at risk', if the parents had addiction issues or any other social issues, why on earth did they gain unsupervised visits to the child?
Normally if parents in particular have addiction issues, it's supervised access only.

I guess it's expected that there would always be a neonatal nurse on the ward with them. Moo
