Please report any sightings of missing Chelsea
31-year-old Chelsea Allen has now been missing for six days. She was last seen at an address in Helmsley in the early hours of Sunday morning. It’s believed that Chelsea left home on foot, and she was wearing a navy blue long-sleeved t-shirt with white pattern sleeves, grey jogging bottoms and trainers. She has shoulder length straight dark brown hair and is 5ft 5ins tall, slim build and has several tattoos.
Extensive police and specialist resources are being used in the search.
Large open areas around Helmsley have been covered by the Operational Support Unit, who have also been assisted by a mountain rescue team.
A police drone, police helicopter (NPAS) and off-road police motorcycle have also been called in to help find Chelsea.
She has links to Hemsworth and Pontefract in West Yorkshire so it’s possible that she could have headed for this area. West Yorkshire Police is supporting the missing person inquiry.
Inspector Ian Roberts from our Operational Support Unit said: “It’s very concerning that Chelsea has been missing for six days. We’re supporting her family while our enquires continue to try and locate her.
“If required, the searches will continue across the weekend. I urge any members of the public in the Helmsley area to remain vigilant and report any sightings to police immediately.”
Anyone who has any information which could help officers with their enquiries should contact police on 101. If you have an immediate sighting of Chelsea, please call 999.
