I wonder how that played out then, with police not knowing Chloe's identity for 24 hours. I presume all in the house denied knowing who she was.

It hasn't been reported if Chloe was stabbed outside in the street, or if it happened in the house. I know the knife was found in the street, but she and the knife could have been moved there.

"Now, West Yorkshire Police are desperately hunting for the footage which allegedly captured Chloe's stabbing. Senior Investigating Officer Detective Chief Inspector James Entwistle said: "This senseless, tragic death has caused unimaginable grief for Chloe's family, friends, and across communities. Officers are still working to piece together everything that happened that night.

"Our inquiries suggest this murder might have been captured on a mobile phone and that a video is circulating around social media. My appeal is for anyone who knows of, has seen, or has that video. Please get in touch. We need that video...Chloe's family needs answers as to why she died."

[...]

The brief hearing, in which no pleas were entered, scheduled a provisional three-week trial for November 10. A pre-trial hearing was set for May 1.

The court was also told a second post-mortem examination for the victim was not required, which would be a comfort to her family.

The court heard that a 'significant' amount of evidence relates to mobile phones.
