Has there ever been a photo of baby Victoria taken by either parent?

Her excessive fat could keep her warm? Lucky her hey. Not so much baby Victoria.
I have plenty of excess fat but I still feel the cold !! What a moron! That just demonstrates that they were both fine and warm ,so what about a baby in a thin onesie !!!

Love clearly didn't conquer all when it came to making the best choices for their 'much loved' children - especially V.

Members of jury, support those who stood up to government overreach, in the spirit of the Magna Carta," he said. "In this trial acquit us. Me and my wife. Mark Gordon and Constance Marten.

"We were two vulnerable people (who were) misunderstood and continuously persecuted due to racial (and) class stereotypes. But none of that stuff matters, as love conquers all."

Magna Carta - Did she die in vain?

I don't see what Magna Carta has got to do with anything, seeing as he's getting due process of law in front of a jury of his peers (clause 39, one of only three clauses of the 1215 charter still operative).

I suppose this does show them to be 'sovereign citizen' types, given that they're the sort who continually misinterpret Magna Carta and misunderstand what it was and what it did. He'd have been better off citing Bushel's Case, as there's an actual memorial to that jury in the Old Bailey.

Wonder if to the jury he seems like a reasonable person making his case
OR
like an absolute flipping clown …

Gordon, who is representing himself after his lawyers withdrew from the trial, gave his closing speech from the witness box of the Old Bailey on Monday.

He said there should be an inquiry to “prevent a future tragedy”.
“I say that the state, and the state alone, was responsible for what happened
We should be doing the unlawful death lawsuit against the government for its pursuit.

Gordon highlighted a CCTV image of them taken in east London wearing layers of clothing
He told the jury that “these items [of clothing] along with my wife’s excessive body fat” were evidence of their being well prepared for camping in winter.
A female juror snorted.
Gordon persisted: “After 51 days of living with little food … there is very substantial body fat on her. You can see the size, the girth, she is not a small woman at that time. It is relevant to the case.”

Gordon said that despite camping in the middle of winter, their tent had a “microclimate
He continued: “The prosecution, like a Hollywood production, can make things so lifelike and believable even though they are generated and false … they would prosecute Jesus.”

It sounds as if he is describing an animal ready for market.

Did MG admit that the death was NOT accidental ??

Not surprised somebody snorted.

That's a good description of what Magna Carta has got to do with it.

I think him describing Connie as if she was a prize pig ready for market must have been the final straw for the jurors self composure, particularly if they caught the eye of another juror.

When in the tent, the baby would have been about as warm or as cold as her parents, being in close physical contact with one or both of them practically all the time. Because that is how humans behave with our young in such circumstances. Weighing a mere 1/15 or 1/20 of a parent's weight, Victoria would have had a temperature that was determined by her parents'. Physics. JMO.

Hopefully that report in the Times won't open the way to its becoming normal to report that at a certain moment in a witness's testimony, or during a closing speech, a tall juror raised his eyebrow and a more rotund juror seemed suddenly to have a very itchy neck, while a blond well-tanned juror grinned. That kind of reporting shouldn't be on, in any trial.

Edit

"Constance Marten's partner says couple are victims of racism"

^ That is the headline in the Times, to an article in which they quote MG as saying "We were two vulnerable people which were misunderstood and constantly pursued due to racial and class stereotypes. But none of that stuff matters because love conquers all."

The page editor didn't get the irony, or what? They don't even refer to him by name in the main headline, any more than Oliver Mellors was referred to by name in the title of D H Lawrence's famously banned novel.

Why not?

"Constance Marten’s partner says couple are victims of racism"

I have no idea how anyone would think he's a reasonable person.
He comes across as deranged, egotistical and narcissistic.
Every time he opens his mouth he scores a new low, or several

Is he comparing himself to Jesus now? He's more delusional than I gave him credit for.

And if CM was living 51 days with little food how was she making milk for Victoria? 🤬

Clown.

He's not even been acquitted of causing or allowing Victoria's death and he's already seeing the dollar sign in suing the government to benefit from her death.
He's vile. Vile and rotten.
Empathetic values, my beloved rear.

Victoria died on the second night in the tent.
They bought the tent in London on 7th January.
They arrived in Newhaven around 5am on the 8th.
Victoria died on the 9th or 10th, when she was 16 or 17 days old.
CM went to the petrol station at around 6.30am on the 12th.
They were arrested on 27th February. The date 51 days before that is 7th January. So CM was breastfeeding for three of those days.
