I haven't got a link to hand and would appreciate if someone could add it. I think it was yesterday that a few papers (Sun, Scottish Sun, Mirror?) said that Corrie's phone might have been 'in use' on its journey to BM, and they implied they got that possibility from the police?

Does anyone have that quote and a link?

Suffolk Police said they have not yet searched the [landfill] site as they couldn't rule out another vehicle took the same route. They also suggested Corrie may have been using his phone at the time it was giving out signals.

Thanks to Scorpio1 for the link!

Head on one has been removed.

If one pic remains and the other's gone, does that mean it might have been two different cyclists and only one has been ID'd?

  • #663
I'm confused about whether there is a correct name for the cyclist yet, so many different opinions but I thought it was agreed that the bike in the photo wasn't the same bike. Didn't we have a poster who explained the differences?

Sorry if I've got that wrong but I've been under the impression that the swingers photo was taken in some kind of public area and it was just a fluke that there happened to be a bike in the photo. If it was the same bike that would put a very different spin on things. iirc the poster who suggested C might have left his bike in BSE for transport after nights out was very much disgreed with

JMO

The pic of Corrie with a bike behind him was taken in a communal area (possibly of the block he lived in). If it was in the block he lived in then there is at least a 30 to 1 chance that it is his bike. Corrie doesn't strike me as a bike owner (imo) . <modsnip>

I think those things are logical inferences rather than facts. And I think they are logical and reasonable.

The police having access to the mobile phone usage/data is not supported by any news reports however we can safely assume they have access to that data.

But if we are required to only post facts supported by MSM then we are in a grey area.

LE tracked the phone's movement and pings.

They have access to its usage and data.

That is a fact. No MSM link is necessary.

so if we were to go along with that story and said he could have been using his phone when it was traveling to Barton mills area, would that not rule out the bins and the landfill altogether,

The bins, surely yes. The landfill, not sure...that could mean that Corrie came to harm after the phone pings and someone moved his body there?

But it's the Sun...they could be wrong.

or even got a lift in the bin lorry and something happened after,

Based on this, why don't police know when C last used his phone and therefore find him?

Edit. I'm not asking you Gt but everyone. Thanks for confirming this Btw.

Suffolk Police website has removed the picture of the car and cyclist. Just checked 13.36, which means the cyclist has now been identified.

Great. So who's left? Did "no entry sign" man get ID'd?

Not necessarly unless they issue an update or it is in MSM. Wth is going on?

Who the **** knows? Presumably just no entry and old woman unless they are all the same person jmo.

Eta did the reward maybe get claimed by the cyclist or the taxi driver? Looks like this case began with a bike and may end with one also imo.

If his phone was in use then it couldnt have been in the bin lorry. But it might not have been Corrie using it. Remember he was not seen using his phone at all on cctv that night.

No entry man still up and the old man. I think it's good too, both cyclist photos now gone, at last.

Do we know that for sure? He deffo used it and had it in his car and sent the pic based on an earlier convo so did he receive and send the pic when he was in his car?

Well we know that he had his mobile with him on the night out as he phones his brother on it when he first arrived in town.
