As police announce they will be staying at the scene for some time, this is what we know about the four deaths in Costessey.
Four people, including two young girls, all thought to be from the same family, were found dead in a house earlier
Police forced entry to a house in Allan Bedford Crescent at about 07:15 GMT after a neighbour reported their concern for the welfare of the family
Once inside, officers discovered the bodies of a man aged 45, a woman aged 36 and two young girls
All of those who died had injuries
The man and two girls lived at the house and the woman was "visiting", police have said
Post-mortem examinations will be held to establish the cause of death
Officers previously visited the address on 14 December as part of a missing persons inquiry
Police believe this to be an "isolated" incident
A knife found in nearby woods is not believed to be connected to the deaths and police are not looking at other locations
People have been urged not to speculate about the circumstances of the deaths
The local community has spoken of "shock" at the "tragic" news
Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area earlier this morning to contact them
