There's nothing in that; formal identification has yet to be announced, and it takes time. If she is not a member of the household, they'll be trying to get hold of her next of kin before they read it in the headlines.

Moved from nearby this estate a couple of years ago. Really sad news.

It seems mother wasn't living in the house.
It is written only 3 people lived there
(father, 2 daughters) + sister-in-law who was visiting.
Mum seems to be Thai.
And father was Polish.

It was reported he was an engineer, so well educated.

But what was it about him missing in December?
Can kids stay with a parent with MH issues?
Where is mother?

It seems a concerned neighbour called for welfare check.

It said in a Daily Mail article that the sister-in-law was helping to look after the dad after he went missing at Christmas time.

Another near neighbour who asked not to be named said Mr Kulzynski had been reported missing around a month ago just before Christmas.

He said: 'There were five or six police cars outside their house. People were looking for him and then another neighbour found him walking up the hill round the corner.

'The sister-in-law then came round to help look after him. I think he had mental health issues at the time he went missing. People were talking about how he was not well.

'They were a very quiet couple and did not seem to speak to other people.

This article by the Telegraph suggests the wife/mother has not been seen by neighbours at the house for months. Hopefully, that means she is alive and well.

I suspect that we're going to find out it's related to health of the wife or health of another relation, but that is purely a guess, not based on hard evidence. There are a bunch of reasons why a household might be composed of a father and his kids and his sister-in-law.

You're prob right. Altho what it actually says is that the police said they were in touch with the family over a "missing persons enquiry" and it is the neighbours who claimed it was the man who was missing.

He and his wife might have separated for whatever reason.

E.g: the wife might have visited her family in Thailand, etc., not taking the kids because of school education, etc.

Or something else was the matter.
He might have had hard time because of the separation and his MH suffered.

Who knows?

I am assuming that if someone from the house was missing, the neighbours would have been canvassed by police and possibly family members. I know if I got a knock on my door and cops were asking if I had seen one of my neighbours who was missing, I would remember which one it was, especially as it was only a month ago. And not because I know my neighbours well, I really don't, but because that would be very memorable. Especially in a low crime area, which from what the neighbours are saying, Costessey seems to be.

Very possibly, the injuries were not caused by a knife. So, that would make the knife being related unlikely. Also, the knife may have obviously been in the elements for some time. Also, even if the wounds were caused by a knife, the knife used in the crime may have still been present at the crime scene.

Sometimes a knife in the woods is just a knife in the woods. Left maybe by kids or a careless camper.

I labour the point for two reasons:

1. Where is the wife and mother of the children? Hopefully the police know. Because if the obvious has happened, then there is obvious reason to fear for her safety

2. I've read so much misinformation in the daily mail, especially early doors in cases where they seem to publish stuff without necessarily fact checking

Oh, I agree completely. Whole piles of salt at the ready. I'm just riffing off the little we 'know' this early, trying to guess what's possible or probable, and that could all go up in smoke at any moment with a police press conference.
