GUILTY UK - Dr. Saman Mir Sacharvi, 49, & Vian Mangrio, 14, found dead, Reedley, 1 Oct 2020 *ARREST*

There was some evidence today:
_____

Asking about what had happened at the house, prosecutor David McLachlan QC asked Mr Khan if he accepted the deaths were not caused by jinns, a type of Islamic spirit.

Mr Khan replied he did and that he was now "taking eight to 10 tablets a day, so my brain feels slightly better".

He rejected Mr McLachlan's assertion that he "put something around Dr Sacharvi's neck and... pulled it as tight as you could until she stopped breathing" and that he used Vian's school tie to kill her.

Mr Khan said he was "like a family friend" to the pair and that Vian was "like a daughter".

He said he did not know how the pair's mobile phones, which are still missing, ended up being disconnected or why their internet router became inactive on the day of their deaths, adding that neither mother nor daughter had complained to him about the problems while he was there.

Burnley murder accused accepts spirit did not kill doctor and daughter

He rejected Mr McLachlan's assertion that he "put something around Dr Sacharvi's neck and... pulled it as tight as you could until she stopped breathing" and that “he used Vian's school tie to kill her.”
How he used “Vian school tie” the girl came at 3:25. And dr was already killed.
Finger prints must be on that tie.

I highly doubt Vian only had one school tie, she probably had multiple ties. You seem to keep insisting/implying that there is no evidence, no DNA, no fingerprints, no motive etc. Perhaps you are simply being on optimistic because you try to see the best in people but I'm afraid to tell you that this case would have never made it to this stage if there wasn't enough evidence to bring it to trial. We're certainly not getting the full story or all the details through the news either; there will be a ton of detail and information coming out in the trial that we don't know about.

I think it's just badly phrased, the prosecutor was asking if the school tie was used to kill Vian. Clearer here (more details at link):
_____

Mr McLachlan said: 'You put something around Dr Sacharvi's neck and you pulled it as tight as you could until she stopped breathing.'

Khan said: 'That's not true.'

Mr McLachlan said: 'Did you kneel on her back and wait for her 14-year-old daughter to get in?'

'No,' replied the defendant.

The prosecutor went on: 'Did you use her school tie to kill her?'

Khan said: 'No.'

well it’s a discussion forum.
Why the prosecutor specifically asked “Vian school tie” no other tie , scarves possibility in the house?

I am not insisting, DNA , finger prints etc. These are the basic evidences and its lacking

Vian's school tie would have completely burned away since her body was so badly burned, so they are putting a likely scenario to him based on what she was wearing when she came home. She was seen on cctv arriving home.

This make sense.

Closing speeches and summing up must have been quick.

too quick? What’s the decision come out?

It must have been a typo about the jury retiring.

His wife, Rabia Shahbaz, 45, also of Ribble Avenue, denies doing an act intended to pervert the course of public justice, namely giving a false alibi for Khan, and remains on trial.

Trial judge Mr Justice Goss told jurors: “That is the end of the case as far as Shahbaz Khan is concerned. You don’t need to consider his case any further.

“His wife remains on trial and you will have to return a verdict in her case.”
