I am glad I was mistaken and the accused is testifying. This is a plus.
At least getting something from his side.

There was some evidence today:
_____
Asking about what had happened at the house, prosecutor David McLachlan QC asked Mr Khan if he accepted the deaths were not caused by jinns, a type of Islamic spirit.
Mr Khan replied he did and that he was now "taking eight to 10 tablets a day, so my brain feels slightly better".
He rejected Mr McLachlan's assertion that he "put something around Dr Sacharvi's neck and... pulled it as tight as you could until she stopped breathing" and that he used Vian's school tie to kill her.
Mr Khan said he was "like a family friend" to the pair and that Vian was "like a daughter".
He said he did not know how the pair's mobile phones, which are still missing, ended up being disconnected or why their internet router became inactive on the day of their deaths, adding that neither mother nor daughter had complained to him about the problems while he was there.
Burnley murder accused accepts spirit did not kill doctor and daughter
I highly doubt Vian only had one school tie, she probably had multiple ties. You seem to keep insisting/implying that there is no evidence, no DNA, no fingerprints, no motive etc. Perhaps you are simply being on optimistic because you try to see the best in people but I'm afraid to tell you that this case would have never made it to this stage if there wasn't enough evidence to bring it to trial. We're certainly not getting the full story or all the details through the news either; there will be a ton of detail and information coming out in the trial that we don't know about. He rejected Mr McLachlan's assertion that he "put something around Dr Sacharvi's neck and... pulled it as tight as you could until she stopped breathing" and that “he used Vian's school tie to kill her.”
How he used “Vian school tie” the girl came at 3:25. And dr was already killed.
Finger prints must be on that tie.

Vian's school tie would have completely burned away since her body was so badly burned, so they are putting a likely scenario to him based on what she was wearing when she came home. She was seen on cctv arriving home.
Closing speeches and summing up must have been quick.

I think he is not mentally stable. He seems drugged .I hope he explains his motive. I think he will be asked to give an account of his actions.
Omg he Pleaded guilty , seems he is having mental health issues. His wife, Rabia Shahbaz, 45, also of Ribble Avenue, denies doing an act intended to pervert the course of public justice, namely giving a false alibi for Khan, and remains on trial.
Trial judge Mr Justice Goss told jurors: “That is the end of the case as far as Shahbaz Khan is concerned. You don’t need to consider his case any further.
“His wife remains on trial and you will have to return a verdict in her case.”

Life.Omg he Pleaded guilty , seems he is having mental health issues.
What will happened now ? What sentence he will receive.
Life sentence would be incase of guilty too? So what would be the difference between pleaded guilty and not accepting guiltyLife.
