What a complete and utter evil beyond belief monster. I can't find words abhorrent enough to describe him without dumping a load of expletives.

And please don't get me started on her. She definitely sparks him off. Is she that really naive. Thinking that giving him a baby boy would solve 'everything'?
And I'm very sorry but if it were MY house in MY name as usually women with children who are not married. Their names are generally the ones on the tenancy agreement. So HE would of been the one to walk the streets back to his mom and dad.
I really really, really don't get him. Obviously he has a prominent anger management issue. I did say in earlier postings on this thread I'm sure I read he had previous charges from the police.
All consisting of violence. And 2 consisting of injuries including a punch to the face in 2005 to his ex gf.
I find this pertinent cuz roll forward a couple of years and he's in another relationship and in hospital with a 7 week old baby with possible SBS. Head injuries.......... DING DONG!!! BIG RED LIGHT!!!!

BIB You did indeed, alongside scores of very interesting contributions to this thread.

It is all so appalling.
At least we now know the link to the JG letter previously discussed with it's prayers and ref to "baby boy". I did notice in that letter she has almost a priority wish list:
Her relationship, her health, her job at Williams and the grievance hanging over her head there, cash and a loan and then getting the kids back. Ellie & sis get a mention towards the bottom of the letter.

I was in court this afternoon, I'll update later

Looking forward to your take on today - going to go eat and come back.
After your concerns yesterday , BB didn't even attend . Shame he wasn't forced to re-listen to his own filthy words.

Totally off topic:
I'm sorry if I come off as terribly rude, but I have been wondering about something on this forum and in this thread especially.
I have noticed that a lot of the times people wrote "should of" instead of "should have" and the same for other examples. "Of" where it should clearly be "have".
Considering this is something so simple and so obvious (that it actually irritates me while reading the posts) I wonder if I'm missing something.
Is this some sort of slang? Something not only said but put in writing as well?
Sorry, if I seem rude. I have been wondering about this for a long time.

BIB I appreciate you're genuinely interested in English grammar & style so, just to say, it is "come across" not "come off". ;)

I want to post but every time I write I end up deleting it. For some reason I'm reeling a bit from today. We really need a private area - admin hasn't come back to me yet.

Sorry, perhaps I just need a bit of time to compose myself. Not meaning to be overly dramatic.

Anyway, prosecution is closing case tomorrow, possibly one more witness. No court Thursday and BB is going to take the stand on Friday. Assuming he has got over his faked sickness today.

After listening to all that - I am not surprised at all having read the links. I would be the same if I had heard that- very different impact than listening to school staff testimony etc. ( Remember BWatts, reading that was like "staring into the abyss". Squalid and affecting. )

I don't think anyone would be surprised if you felt you can't manage writing up that this evening. As much as I'm interested, you're not here to provide an "entertainment" service, if you get what I mean.

Plus we have a lot of guests here I see, and the restrictions issue is a pertinent one.
Do what you think is best- maybe you will get the private thread by tomorrow anyway.

Yes that's all tied in now and at least makes sense. Was wondering when things were going to tally up. And thank you. I just feel this is such an emotive case.

Just take your time Tortoise. I'm sure whatever you post will be fine as Media have already dissected their notes to put into publications. And my guessing is that they will of gone for the punch lines (pardon the pun)
Much to push the headlines and the shock value of this case if you ask me. Plus the fact he was aquitted of any charges against Ellie at 7 weeks. And the icing on the cake was winning Ellie back from Social Services grip.
Why do all that first someone you don't want or a baby you didn't want either? :dontknow:

You're almost as bad as me, I just google imaged her. However I did resist posting the photo. As long as she reads the papers, in her retirement!

I think there are going to be fireworks Friday then. I really don't think Court will get thru a lot somehow on Friday. That's if yesterday's outburst was anything to go by.
And JG wasn't attending Court today as she was feeling 'unwell'.
Tortoise are you going in on Friday?

slightly different report in the Sun's link

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...as-disgusted-when-she-got-pregnant-again.html

Just as pathetic though
It's just the language he uses towards her. That's NOT love. BB moaned he was in a 'sexless' relationship.
What were her pregnancies then? Divine conceptions?
Out on a limb here. I'd say. With JG. He had a roof over his head. No parents to moan at him. He could play his computer games all day and night if he wanted too. He was obviously in receipt of 'JSA' (job seekers allowance) I would of thought. He had food available to eat things to drink. In fact he had all the comforts of home at his disposal.
JG I see as his toy. Initially in the beginning maybe as bf n gf things were okay. It was fun and carefree he got sex as and when. And then JG got pregnant. That was the end of that.. And them as a 'proper' relationship.

We don't or haven't heard anything prior Ellie's birth. Just the dramatic storyline as Ellie turned 7 weeks.
Had his fury showed before then?
I'm thinking possibly he's had no opportunity too. As JG would be on Maternity leave. .....
But there you go. This Relationship was over before it began. JG gave him enough rope (to change his ways maybe) many times. But he hung himself. Especially this time round when he lost it and treated Ellie like a rag doll.

All MOO. of course.

Gosh!

What a day. Tortoise, take your time, and post when you are ready

The stuff about the miscarriage and the previous partner. Wtf. Why were the papers reporting that he had no previous convictions? Was this considered when his conviction was quashed and they gained custody of the girls again?

BB even knew they were bad together in his texts he sent her. But together they made it toxic. He didn't want to be with her. Why not LEAVE?
Why drag it out longer each time they fought. Especially after the Abortion. Why didn't she call TIME OUT on him. Where were her parents while this was happening?
I couldn't bare to know my daughter was in such a violent relationship.
To such a violent abhorrent man.
And I am positive when I say this. If poor sweet darling Ellie was still alive today. (God rest her soul). BB would be in the dock facing murder charges against JG.

Here's the Daily Mirror's take on today's hearing at the trial. Now I am confused. I read earlier or I think I did in the first post that JG was not in court due to feeling unwell.
Now I've read in many WS posts that BB was absent due to ill health.
I guess I'm backtracking again then to clarify.

Dad accused of battering daughter to death 'called her a 'c***' '

Okay my apologies for my booboo.
It was BB that wasn't in court besides JG due to being unwell. Sorry didn't mean to mislead. I think I was just soo taken aback by the evidence read from Court today.

Wow. So BB repeatedly beat JG and Ellie; is disgusted by the mere sight of JG; forced her to get a late-term abortion; beat her just after the abortion while she was bleeding heavily; tried to stop her going to hospital despite the potentially fatal dangers of an incomplete abortion; and is jobless; demanding; has a disgusting personality; and is average looking. He has literally no redeeming features.

What on earth did she see in him? Why did she repeatedly go back to him after the utterly terrible things he had done? Why did she crave his non-existent love? The only explanation I can come up with is that *she* was obsessed with *him*.

It is clear that BB is incredibly judgemental about appearances, to the point of loathing JG for her imperfections. It sounds like her appearance actually irritated him. Yet she is moderately attractive. His standards are unreasonably high.

I wonder if BB's planning to get Ellie's ears pinned back was because he had such ridiculous demands on the appearance of his girls. Giving his irritation at JG's imperfections, I wonder if BB blamed Ellie's ears for "triggering" his rage.

Also, BB is vain, and possibly wanted Ellie - who looked like a much prettier version of him - to be perfect and reflect him well.

(Of course, Ellie was remarkably pretty despite her average-looking father, and her ears were normal.)
