Poor Prince Philip! He was so keen to have his (Mountbatten) surname passed on to his descendents - and look how that has turned out! Everyone knows it now![]()
I meant that although other of Philip's descendants have Mountbatten as part of their names (eg Archie and Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor), most people probably don't know or care about that. And never knew or have forgotten what Philip's surname was. But with Andrew and his name now in an intense spotlight, pretty much everybody has heard the name "Mountbatten". And Andrew has brought shame upon it.Not sure what you mean. Isn't Andrew the only Mountbatten associated with JE?
And everyone knows about Andrew now?

I don't get it
why she always seemed to be in debt???![]()
With all support to the women and girls who were victims, but the truth is WE all are victims. The most powerful people in the world were ensared in this circle and the corruption wasn't just about abusing girls/women (that is bad enough!). Decisions that affect governments and large institutions and policies were made by a group exchanging sex, favors, money, blackmail, and influence on each other. The release of additional Epstein files continues to roil the British royal family, raising further questions about the former Prince Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson's ties to the disgraced financier.
Earlier today, CNN's @EleniGiokos asked Prince Edward for his thoughts.
“I think it's all really important always to remember the victims and who are the victims in all this”
Lord Mandelson is openly gay, so that is a puzzler.![]()
Labour's Dark Lord facing criminal inquiry: Mandelson reported police
Scotland Yard is reviewing revelations that the architect of New Labour passed on highly sensitive advice given to then-prime minister Gordon Brown.www.dailymail.co.uk
Lord Mandelson fed information from Number Ten to Epstein for financial gain/sensitive information.
Mandelson got £75,000 in return, sent to his now husband.
Lord Peter Mandelson is pictured in his underpants with a woman in a robe beside him.
Lord Peter Mandelson should definitely be in jail. IMO, MOO etc.
He’s a pal, a great pal to PM Starmer.

I have no idea. Not my crowd, lol.Why the robe for her then?
I have no idea. Not my crowd, lol.
My question returns to: who took the photo? Who took any of the photos in the files that look so boring and mundane yet are compromising?

It makes sense the cameras were hidden because most photos are so....odd.It has been suggested that there were cameras everywhere in the homes.
All the better to blackmail the visitors.
I mean who walks around someone else’s house in their underpants?
I have no idea. Not my crowd, lol.

IMO, the problem with any kind of elite is that joining one entirely depends on making connections with the 'right' person/people to get you in. Which builds the kind of loyalty also seen in the mafia, and in cults. Those bonds of personal loyalty run very, very deep.IDK. Trying to make sense of corrupt elites is likely futile
Agree. For years I've been saying, "It's not just about the girls!" It wasn't a sex ring as these powerful men could get any sex partner they wanted at any time, but it's about corruption far beyond that, at government levels.IMO, the problem with any kind of elite is that joining one entirely depends on making connections with the 'right' person/people to get you in. It seems to me JE built some kind of personal brand of being 'elite', and others were drawn to him like moths to the flame. I don't believe it was all about the young women giving massages, IMO his mystique was also being some kind of unappointed VIP with magical connections to people with power and money.

A blackmailing spy who openly bought information? IMO, people need to choose just one plot device and stick to it.Its been suggested that JE was a spy.
He hooked up with these people, blackmailed them etc.
He was very generous, word got about etc.
