Hi m25
I'm hoping they have more cctv already maybe? It's so long between the release of the shop cctv in Clifton rd and the footage from outside the guildbourne centre,it seems odd for it to only just be noticed now and handed in to police??so maybe they have had it a while? glad that it has been released tho, maybe it will jog someone's memory :) moo imo

"We are no closer to establishing the circumstances surrounding her disappearance", said police, who are now treating it as a homicide case.
(Quoted from linked article back in august)
Can anyone with a better understanding of how cases work explain to me what could have changed this into a homicide case if the police haven't had any more info please? Would it be because of the amount of time,no more sightings, bank cards not used etc? Tia

Early on two men were arrested on suspicion of murder, so I guess it's been treated as homicide for a while. I'm not sure when they were arrested, but it is mentioned in this article from Aug 2018:

Missing Georgina Gharsallah's mum 'feels let down by police' as search continues

Yes your right, it must have been treated as a suspected murder for quite some time.its quite small here and everyone kind of hears things but ive not even heard a rumour about who the two men arrested were.not even gossip or rumour about that! I hope her mum gets some news soon.thank you legally bland :)

A very sad story. It would seem all the delays to get the case going properly hampered the investigation for the very start.

The woman with her entering the shopping centre must have a cold heart or must be in some way compromised if she’s not come forward yet to police at this late stage.

I hope the mother can find some form of closure.

Georgina was wanted to move Brighton so may have gone to view a flat or something and things went wrong for her. That is my theory on all of this.

This is such a sad story. I can't believe nothing has progressed after this time. I hope her mother has her answers soon

Welcome to ws loobyloo2!
Hopefully with the podcast and her friends and family keeping her story in the news will give people more info and someone will remember something.
RobinCAL- I agree it is sad that nothing seems to have changed much, like most cases though maybe the police have info they haven’t released or something.
I hope her family get some answers soon too.
