UK UK - Georgina Gharsallah, 30, Worthing, 7 March 2018

Welcome to ws loobyloo2!
Hopefully with the podcast and her friends and family keeping her story in the news will give people more info and someone will remember something.
RobinCAL- I agree it is sad that nothing seems to have changed much, like most cases though maybe the police have info they haven’t released or something.
I hope her family get some answers soon too.

I keep feeling that Georgina's links with Brighton are significant. A previous article in the Worthing Herald says that said she split up with her boyfriend and moved back in with her mother but wanted to move to Brighton. Everything seems to have been focussed around Worthing and maybe people are looking in the wrong place for some of the answers to her disappearance. I believe the petition for police to search Teville gate in Worthing is important though as her mum has strong feelings about the place. Mums can have very strong instincts.

I don’t know what the coverage of this is over Brighton way,I have family there that didn’t know about Georgina until I told them.maybe they just didn’t notice news or posters? I agree police should be following up Brighton links too and I fully understand why her mum fought hard about teville gate area devolopment too. There WAS rough sleepers that were staying there at the time despite it supposedly being secure.A lot of local rumour since she went missing but nothing can be posted here as no sources.I think her mums instinct is absolutely right, but who knows it’s such a strange one! IMO moo

I am fairly local to this case and I do remember there being some coverage of this in the local papers like The Argus. I think there were also posts being shared on Facebook too, but I think that sort of stuff tends to dwindle once things go quiet, unless there is something new to report.

The first I heard was on the local news I think, I knew about it before seeing the thread on Websleuths.

The rubble would be long gone and likely untraceable.

I've been walking by a building being demolished all week. It's all cordoned off and I can't see how you could sneak a body in without anyone noticing.

I think the only way this area could even get searched is if there is a firm connection found between Georgina and someone that worked there at the time of demolition and had access.
I agree because it wouldn't be easy to conceal a body unless someone had the equipment to do so. It was in March so depending on the weather the ground may have been fairly dry. If there where a few homeless people
I don’t agree, in my job I work on some trafficking cases and its not just children and teens. Adults are trafficked, sex industry, cannabis farms, nail bars, slaves. You’re totally wrong & 30’s isn’t old!!!
A21.org came and gave a talk in Sussex recently and some people led a freedom from slavery march. I can't see how Georgina would be working in a nail bar in the UK as English is her first language. However I do see your point about other aspects of trafficking and it is a myth that only non English speakers coming into the UK from abroad are victims.

Deliveroo riders to wear missing persons appeals on backpacks in bid to reunite people with families

''Deliveroo will display the faces of missing people on the rucksacks of its riders in Brighton in the hope that somebody may recognise them.

The appeals will be shown in areas close to where the person was last seen.

One of first to be featured is Georgina Gharsallah.''
