Would her bank card details at the time of her disappearance still be valid today? Mine expires every 2 years. I assume her bank account details would still be the same.

Is it possible this is some sort of automatic payment or a payment Sony took out themselves?

Potentially, I've just checked and my debit lasts 3 years and credit cards last 4.

So Sussex police probably have missed an active anual policy the past 2 years.

Sussex Police has been accused of "significant failings" over the way it handled the disappearance of the 30-year-old, who has never been found.

The Independent Office of Police Conduct will now look into the case.

An IOPC spokesman confirmed the watchdog had received a voluntary complaint referral from Sussex Police in connection with the disappearance of Ms Gharsallah.

Has there been an update about the activity on her bank account?

My impression was that it was a red herring, possible police mistakes if this annual payment been allowed to come out of her account the past 3 years without triggering anything. The announcement of news was more so to highlight the problems with the policing than any new lead. Glad people are still thinking about Georgina.

We have an update from the mother. A witness has come forward who has identified the woman seen with Georgina in the CCTV. This is a breakthrough for the police to work on.
ATTENTION!

A member of the public has come forward to inform us that they are 100% sure they have identified the female in this CCTV walking with Georgina on the day of her disappearance at around 4pm in Worthing Town Centre. Due to the reporting person's connection to the female in this CCTV with Georgina, we can be confident they are a very reliable source regarding this identification.

This witness made us aware they formally reported their identification of said female to Sussex Police 1 week ago. However, Sussex Police has not yet been in touch with the family regarding this report and has so far failed to answer any emails from Georgina's family in this regard.

We demand Sussex Police follow this lead immediately, as this may bring us much closer to the answers of what happened to Georgina on the day of her disappearance and, subsequently.

The female identified appears to be a well known member of the public in our town of Worthing, therefore we are stunned that nobody else in this town has previously come forward to identify her. Perhaps now is a good time to report your suspicions.

Just remember!
Anyone found to have been involved in the disappearance of Georgina and didnt come forward will be treated as an accessory ( but can be treated as the main perpetrator).
Quoting the Crown Prosecution Service:
'A secondary party is one who aids, abets, counsels or procures (commonly referred to as assists or encourages) D1 to commit the substantive offence, without being a principal offender. However, a secondary party can be prosecuted and punished as if he were a principal offender: s8 Accessories and Abettors Act 1861.'

It is also a prosecutable offence to knowingly conceal information which could assist the Police in a serious investigation such as this.

Good to see a new development. I wonder why she hasn't ever come forward herself?

Yes the fact that this is someone local and known. Police have sat on this for a week and not told her mother, i can understand her frustration.

Three people recently have come forward reporting and identifying to the police the name of the female in the town CCTV.
This is now being looked into by the investigation team ,and as yet ,we don’t know what the outcome is .
We would like to thank those who found the courage to come forward with this information and constantly urge others to do the same if they have any information that could assist in us finding the answers we so desperately need .
It will be 3 years in 6 weeks that Georgina will of been missing , 3 years of her children not knowing where there mummy is , or what has happened to her .
We urge you again
Please please help us to find the answers we desperately need
Thankyou.
