Lewis went missing 15 days before Graham so his investigation obviously develops earlier than Grahams, what are the chances of these same flat being searched twice and relation to two separate missing people? There’s definitely a connection? And also after Grahams remains were found, this flat has been boarded up and secured as a scene of crime or something.

I’m thinking the flat is some kind of gay chemsex brothel and the neighbour may be supplying the drugs, I think all 4 characters could be gay 2 are 100% confirmed as gay, an educated guess the other 2 might be or at least bi sexual and the missing neighbour possibly a chemsex dealer or cocaine, I’m thinking drug deaths and conspiracy and coverups gone wrong

My, this is a complicated web! My hunch is this was a kink that went too far rather than violence for violence sake. Because of the slightly different dates of reported disappearances. I don’t think this was one violent incident. I think someone got a taste for something and went on a binge. As serial killers do. I think police are holding cards type to the chest because the full story is quite disturbing. We certainly don’t have murders like this here. JMO
To a guy who implies he has something to do with it. He is like a nephew of a friend of 1 of those involved & some of these families went to the same school back in the day so. That guy isn't a career criminal, He might just be very dangerous & very troubled. That still doesn't explain any of their involvement with Lewis or Graham. it still could be that it's really just coincidence. Yes, the chances seem to be low but it's Glasgow. A city can have 2 murders 15 days apart, even in the same area. it's just all very weird. I don't think it would then have to do with being gay, rather then maybe settling very old scores & Lewis & Graham just got caught right in the middle.
They have searched the same house firstly for Lewis and weeks later for Graham and have boarded it up and secured as a scene of crime. The man who lived in this house is 36 year old James mcginty who has a restraining order against his ex partner in stonehouse a male teacher James Dunn whose house has also been boarded up and secured as scene of crime. So that’s 2 of them confirmed gay, also pride south Lanarkshire were very active in promoting the missing status of Lewis (while this doesn’t mean that he is gay 100%) if I was a betting man I know what way I would be betting.
These people must move in the same circles, the police do not turn up at these locations on a whim, it’s based on intelligence.
Also if you read the gossip from the digger, it points to domestics and on something (drugs), and wild sex game theory’s, while exaggerated there is usually no smoke without fire.
It’s either a sexuality thing a drugs thing or both, I think it’s both.
I also think the missing neighbour may be some kind of dealer, like cocaine or ghb and he has went to extremes to hide his dealing and if his drugs may be responsible for an accidental death or deaths this would explain the unexplained status of the death and why he is on the run and possibly why the van has been burnt out, and the castlemilk location a safe house for the drugs that he would have to destroy.
I don't necessarily subscribe to any of the above theories around drug use, however it's interesting to note that NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde issued a warning to users of crack cocaine on 16th September due to concerns that there was a batch circulating in the city that was cut with synthetic opioids.

It's the neighbor who burned his hire van & ditched his phone & vanished. He apparently took a bag & that's it. That was from 1 of the Castlemilk properties. What if Lewis was killed by somebody unknown(or the neighbor) but the cops did more than they usually do. They really started to go all out to find him. Maybe the Rutherglen guy James knew buskers & that's why they asked him. The police asked around everywhere cause they would want to know even anybody who would have ever seen Lewis busking. But that investigation could have spooked that neighbor. Maybe that guy was doing something nobody knew & now the cops could be inadvertently coming close. Graham as neighbor could be unknowingly been a threat by just living near him so graham had to go. Of course that alerted the cops even more. So of course they would have come back to that bunch of gay men cause it was the only "lead" they had. They had no clue about the neighbor. All of a sudden he was gone right under their noses. They are trying to find the crime scene where the dismemberment would have taken place. All they can do is trying to go from house to house but that's more cause that's all they can do then that there is actually anything to find there. Maybe nobody really knew that neighbor all that well. So they are left holding the bag while that guy is just gone.
Lewis is still not found & if it hadn't been for "bad luck" at Loch Lomond, there wouldn't have been a trace. They really need to find the neighbor.

So what links Graham to the house in rutherglen in that scenario?

Nothing would but if the cops thought the cases were linked (even if they are not, or not the way they think), they will go with the last & only lead, Lewis & If Lewis was known even just casually by James, the guy who lives in that Rutherglen flat. then they will automatic assume he must know more about Graham & now after 2 people, they of course going to seal it off & look. They will look everywhere at this point. They were so focused on these men that the neighbor could just vanish. The neighbor of course could be some kind of handy man or cleaner or have access to properties & that's how they got connected with all of that. The cops are just looking for any hint of a crime scene, they would be securing Buckingham Palace at this point. The hire van could be the crime scene. Some killers do that. He was pretty neat in vanishing. Even got a bag ready. Guy like that.... probably not his first rodeo. I don't think a guy like that works with anybody. But somehow he did leave that bunch hanging. Maybe they were an "easy" bunch. 2 people fighting a love tiff, Graham maybe clueless & only focused on his sports (that man was some fan), Who would have missed a busker. Males missing don't usually get that attention. At this point they really should put out an alert for that neighbor. They can easily do it asking for a witness. They do that all the time even without it being murder. This kind of guy follows every news item they make about it. I'm sure police do their best but a bit of help of the public could be welcome.

The timeline is what is important here.
When they found the parts of Graham they also got some information that it might be linked to Lewis. I know that for a fact. But it was MIGHT(it wasn't that bunch). That's probably why they went back to that flat. But cops don't always get what's right in front of them & instead of focusing on the neighbor, they focused on that bunch. From there it became this. Now Graham is not even all found & Lewis is completely gone & the likely killer of Graham or at least some criminal, the neighbor is just gone with the wind. That's not the police their fault but they really need to find the neighbor.
Just can’t workout why the flat in rutherglen is some kind of hub, all roads lead to that being the centre of this story. They must have reason 1 to go there for Lewis and 2 for Graham

A HUGE police presence remains in a wooded area in Castlemilk, five days on, as forensics and CID were spotted at the scene today, September 28, 2025.
At this point it's Castlemilk, that new property, block near Ardencraig Road. I suppose they are searching for other bones too. They might have flushed out a serial (neighbour) that nobody knew was there. That's maybe 1 of his dumping sites although, if you go to Loch Lomond, you might go elsewhere too than Castlemilk woods. I doubt that bunch is capable of this kind of murder. This is methodical, secretive, he blended in his environment & could vanish in an instant. That's not the gay hotheads that got dragged into it.
I think the castlemilk site looks like where the neighbour has disposed of evidence, possibly all in the van fire, but given that the forsenics are still there just now in the woods with machinery they are certainly interested in something

The Castlemilk site seems significant - based on the photos on the yahoo article, the area that the search is focussing on looks like it is actually a fairly small wooded area behind the Jenniburn centre, bounded by Ardencraig Road, Tormusk Road and Hoddam Road. Large amounts of the woodland are overlooked by 3 storey blocks of flats typical to Castlemilk.
It is close to the property being searched on Ardencraig Quadrant, however it seems an odd place to try and conceal evidence, given that a huge expanse of wild, heavily wooded and considerably more secluded land at the Cathkin Braes is equally close.
Suggests that whoever the police think has concealed evidence there could be assumed to be familiar with or have a link to that specific bit of woodland, or has been forced to use that area by circumstance (as against the numerous other areas of woodland in the immediate area).
