I'm so confused. I posted the pic ^^ and now at the link there is more pics and one is labeled 'A man, believed to be the attacker, is put on the stretcher and wheeled into an ambulance inside the grounds of Parliament'

No I don't think you were, I think there may be some confusion as to who was seen being put in the ambulance. In the chaos I'm not sure how reliable witness statements can be. It seems the assailant was shot 3 times at close range, odds are he likely was killed.

I heard earlier an ambulance was seen speeding away with a police escort, on the news they speculated that could be the attacker, personally I think that is likely to be the police officer.

Top is the attacker, bottom is the officer who was injured. Look who is receiving the most attention. I think it's likely the attacker is dead

May I ask you something? Does the UK usually treat injured victims at the scene for quite awhile before taking them to the hospital? The reason I asked is here in the US they are usually quickly assessed and loaded in the ambulance and taken to the hospital right away where doctors are waiting for their arrival.

What that gentleman is dressed in looks to me like he could very much be a police officer - black trouser, black shirt - looks very much what the other officers wear under the vests?

Its easy to get confused when a news story is first breaking.

As the story continues things will become clearer.

True but in many of these terrorist attacker cases they seem to dress in all black too.

I think that is dependent on where and what. In London and big cities, you will find specially trained doctors are on call and often travel with an air ambulance, we have medics on bicycles and motorcycles too, as well as in cars. It enables them to get to a scene much quicker than the ambulance. I'm no expert but they often seem to try and get a patient stable before transferring, especially with severe injuries and possible spinal injuries.

Yeah, but look at the shoes at the foot of the stretcher. Tan suede, those are not something a PO would wear

IMO

Yes, as a medic, we tend to stabilise people at the scene. Air Ambulance carries an emergency doctor who can perform roadside surgery if required. I was once with a patient (as a bystander, not a medic) for 2 hours once before she was airlifted to hospital

Three close range gunshots, I'm surprised :/ I'll wait until it's confirmed by the Met or BBC before I'm convinced he's survived
