I believe Monday the 16th is the 50 anniversary of the finding of Bridie O'Hara, the final victim. The police don't know it yet but this is effectively the end of the case since the serial killer was never captured or identified.

I came across this thread accidentally, but can add one thing. My mother in law was at school with Freddie Mills. She described him as a sweet natured boy who was the exact opposite out of the ring to his reputation when fighting. So if he did do it then he had a total personality change in later life. It seems more likely that his name surfaced due to his crossing of the East London crime families, as their way of taking revenge.
