His poor family look haunted in the news report.
His wife looks very tired, must be a horrible feeling not knowing, I find it hard to believe he won't be spotted leaving the area on CCTV somewhere unless trying to sneak away but by all accounts from family he wasnt in his right mind to be thinking that way but I think there are many things to check in the background as well.

I have a couple of theories other than the plain facts make it appear, one possible theory is he could of planned to run away and rather than owning up he has played it out like he went slightly mad, ran through the woods he knew and is off elsewhere, one is slightly more sinister and the other is just the way it looks..
I'm speculating but they mention new medication, if he'd just started an SSRI for depression or anxiety, there is evidence that within the 1st month that they can actually increase the risk of suicidal behaviour.

Thanks and yeah the poor guy seemed to be going through something, it's sad that the drug supposed to help could actually of made his situation worse.

I would be looking into the movements the day/night before and even on that morning of all 4 people in the vehicle, is there cctv with the 4 making the journey? Do phone signals back this journey up? The last 3 people to see him were his family and they watched the 58 year old run through a field and disappear like a fart in the wind, it's possible he had some problems or the new tablets had a negative effect, too many tablets might cause bigger problems do you think? I'd also be checking relationships between the family members and whether there was any reason for any problems, problems within the marriage? or if some members of family had fallen out and maybe a couple of them were no longer Friends... what I'm saying other than the 3 people in the car, can that trip and story be confirmed? If it can fantastic but if not, plenty of questions that could and should be asked and checked..
He was only a few hundred yards from his home when he exited the vehicle. I don’t think that point has been explained thoroughly.

Two adult kids and father as backseat passengers. I’m presuming the wife was driving. So where were the two dogs?

Agreed. Can witnesses, CCTV prove the account given by family? When was he last seen by people other than family? Wonder if Police have looked at activity on his phone.

have they said anything about if his credit/debit cards have been used?

Not used. No money. No wallet. No phone. No sign of existence thus far

Not sure how much cctv is in the area as it isn't far from the home where he went missing.

They should be investigating his phone records through the network provider but I'm not sure if they are to be honest, if they are just treating it as a missing person case they are limited to what powers they can use but this guy must be high risk so that will give them a few more, I've not followed the story other than the facts as they are alleged to have happened but something doesn't seem right to me, it's not a massive wooded area to search and if he was in that area I believe they would of found him but there have been no sightings of him leaving the area either.

The last update i can find in MSM is from Monday 17 October:

If anybody watches MATV on Sky at 7.00 pm (Channel 711), the presenter Harjap Bhangal is going to do an appeal about Harry this evening.

I don't know what to make of this...

I am sure the police are looking into all aspects, such as going back to the point of his leaving car and prior to that.

I am not easy about this alleged panic attack as a result of new medication. We don't know what it was or what he was taking it for, or whether he was prone to panic attacks, but it seems an unusual side effect - especially to come on so suddenly on the journey. Presumably he was okay when they left home? And where were they heading on this journey that day?

Has there been any indication the dogs were with them?

I’m not familiar with the area so don’t know how big it is but it looks humongous online.

They have said he was ok leaving home. Days prior to the disappearance he was suffering from anxiety and insomnia. They have said that they were going to the woods to walk the dogs together at 8:30am on a Sunday morning.

If he was on anti anxiety and insomnia meds I am unsure he would be feeling panicked and anxious; the normal effects would be quite the opposite.

And if he had only been 'suffering from anxiety and insomnia for a few days', a) what was causing him to feel this way, what was going on at home, at home, in relationships, and b) he would not have been put on drugs that quick if only started a few days before. Or, if these were new drugs he had changed to, what has his prescribing GP said of his mental and emotional state, and had he reported not feeling good on these meds?

I still feel this is an unusual and extreme reaction.

Just watched the appeal on MATV (Midlands Asian Television), it was mainly aimed at the Asian community asking for their help in finding Harry. I wonder if he is in Birmingham, staying with friends or family?

From the above item:

Ran said: "It was like a panic attack whilst the car was moving, and when I did manage to pull up he climbed over Callum to get out of the car instead of going through the door on his side, hurting his arm in the process.

"We thought he was going to be sick and then get back in but there is a hedge where you can get access to the field and he just bolted. We were in shock but Callum and my daughter eventually chased after him.

I am surprised that he managed to outrun his son Callum, who looks like a fit young man in the photograph we saw of him in MSM. If Harry ran across a field, I wonder why Callum didn't spot him when he chased after him - where did Harry go? He couldn't have been that far away surely?

Regards the programme, no family members have thanked the gentlemen appealing on his show. They do thank others. Just something I’ve noticed.

In the radio interview yesterday, the wife said Harry had a head start of 20 seconds as they didn’t know he would run off.

Harry may have hidden from his son. We can’t say why he would do that because we don’t know what he was thinking at the time and his state of mind.
I’m not familiar with the area, however, I’m aware it’s a wooded area. I think somebody mentioned that there was overgrowth or the like around the perimeter of this field. Maybe he ducked down and hid there.
From the radio interview, it felt like the wife was saying he was the passenger in the vehicle but from previous reports it was said that he didn’t exit the car from his side but scrambled over his son to get out

BBC Radio Shropshire had the interview with family
