Thanks for the updates again everyone,

had a check back to see what he says in his last version, last week, when he took to the stand

naturally he had other versions previously

I would have thought taking Boris out first thing in the morning would be a priority. If IS was in bed, why would he 99% sure Boris didn't get a walk.

And what did he mean by "I came back downstairs a bit later. Is he saying he got up, went downstairs briefly and then went back to bed? Very odd. He'd probably say it was to make Helen's breakfast and he was exhausted from that strenuous activity so he went back to bed.

Unless they can produce a witness that saw her AFTER Monday 11th I don't see what the point is?

They may need to bring back nick and joe for that one..... [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

I meant to say when we were discussing about the cleaner supposedly breaking the hare ornament and IS exhorting Helen to sack her that my view is he broke the ornament and blamed the cleaner.

He wouldn't have wanted third parties around interfering or adding unknown variables to his evil plan. Just thought I'd throw it in there whilst we are on a break.

BIB That def fits with his MO doesn't it . And he likes a tiny sprinkling of twisted truth amongst his conniving B.S.

IIRC that is the bit where he got his sleepytimes mixed up and his own counsel groaned :D

We also reckoned that the cleaner would be back in court, on verdict day, to wave her finger at Mr Ian

Daughter pointed out Boris the dog

“On Monday April 11 when I saw Helen, my attention was drawn to her by my daughter Catherine, now 20, who does not know Helen at all. “Being a teenager [then] she was drawn by the appearance of a small dog and she drew my attention to Boris through my living room window. “Boris was on a lead, but I can’t remember which direction Helen was going. “When I saw Helen it was between probably 1pm and 2.20pm.”]

BIB
Not important, but what an odd thing to say. As if only a teenager would be drawn to a small dog! Her daughter can only be 20 now as it was less than a year ago.

indeed plus he likes to leave the 1% hanging.

In our experience every perp is either sleeping or temp amnesiac at crucial times.

I can't remember who, but someone did say this at the time of that evidence. And compared it to the time Helen lost the Christmas cards she had bought in advance and found them hidden behind books.

Attention drawn by dog

That’s the end of Mrs Richard’s evidence. A statement will now be read from Catherine Richards, her daughter. In the statement, Catherine said: “I believe the day I saw Helen Bailey was Monday April 11, 2016. “I remember that day, I had been at college during the morning, between 8am and 12.40pm. “I got home around 1.20pm. At 4pm I left home to go to work. “Between 1.20pm and 4pm, I was looking out of the front window. “I saw a lady walking past the window, it was her dog that first drew my attention to her. “My mum said that was the lady who lived round the corner and that she was an author. “She was wearing a dark coloured coat and trousers. She was walking away from the main road. “At the closest, the lady was about 10 metres away.”

I'd like to ask the question, 'is it possibly feasible that from a distance this could have been joe or nick in disguise taking the dog for a walk?'

Is this the best the defence can come up with? Pathetically weak.

right who's next on the witness list or is that it from Mr Flint?

no mates? no family member's ?

If anyone has ever known a compulsive liar they'll know that some people will refuse to believe that they could have lied to the extent they did and will think that their story is so long and detailed and far fetched that they couldn't possibly have made all of it up. I'm really hoping there isn't any body like that on the jury..

Helen Bailey murder trial resumes with new witness

The case has been called back on, jurors are coming into the court room. The next witness is Dr Ashwin Pinto, a consultant neurologist.

And they also believe that the longer they maintain a lie the truer it actually becomes!

Yeah gaslighting it was called.

It does sound like the kind of sneaky thing he'd do.Non confrontational, orchestrated behind the scenes, blaming others

I have visions of someone (on behalf of the defence) running around the street asking if anyone saw a woman with a dog on the 11th. "Oh, great, that must be Helen".
