Hello,
This is my first unidentified post as a new member so any feedback welcome! I’m looking at this case mainly because I’m wondering whether the possessions, specifically the mirror could be tracked to a buyer. Details are as follows:
locate.international

Hair type: Shoulder length
Hair colour: Dark brown
Facial Hair: Unknown
Eye colour (left): Unknown
Eye colour (right): Unknown
2" diameter compact mirror with female Disney character "Belle".
According to Locate international: “He is thought to have died on or before 16 December 2018.”
Police hope 'Beauty and the Beast mirror' unlocks mystery of man found dead
Excerpts from the Daily Mirror four months on from finding:
“The salt marsh is used by the RAF to drop bombs and fire missiles...
So far police have not said how they think he died or whether foul play is suspected and his body was dumped where it was found...
Another possibility is that his body was washed up and drifted on to the marsh along one of the series of channels, or he wandered on to the range and died - accidentally or by suicide. There has been no suggestion he was killed by a bomb or a missile.
Opened in 1926 and covering almost 10,000 acres, much of it mudflats and salt marshes, RAF Holbeach is a 'danger keep out' zone because of the live practice firing and testing of guns and missiles.
The range provides facilities for RAF and NATO-allied aircraft to practice dropping bombs and firing their weapons, including night bombing and helicopter operations.”
My thoughts:
- school sports days in England are usually around July time before the term ends.
- the Belle picture on the mirror appears to be fanart (see tattoo on her neck) The picture released initially in the press was of a standard Belle from the movie.
- the hair / Alice band is quite distinctive
-it seems as if he was wearing quite a bit of clothing and was out there in winter, could he have been doing some kind of work like cockle picking?
Any thoughts on where to start would be appreciated!
