Police Scotland is appealing for information to help trace 20-year-old Jamie Collins from Dundee.

Jamie was of the city at around 8pm on Tuesday, 31 May, 2022.

He is described as five foot nine inches tall, with brown curly hair. He was wearing a blue tracksuit and white Nike trainers.

Inspector Alan Baird of Tayside Division said :

“We are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Jamie and would ask that anyone who has seen him to get in touch.

“Jamie is quite distinctive and has an unusual walk as he sways from side to side.

“We are carrying out extensive enquiries and reviewing CCTV in an effort to trace him but there have been no confirmed sightings of him.

“I would urge anyone who has any information on Jamie’s whereabouts or who has had contact with him to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting 3608 of Tuesday, 31 May, 2022.”

Missing man - Jamie Collins, Dundee

Police in Dundee are continuing their search for Jamie Collins, (20) who has been missing from the Whitfield area of Dundee since Tuesday 31 May, 2022.

Jamie likes to travel on buses in the city, and it is now known that he was last seen in the Liff Road area of Dundee at about 7pm last Tuesday evening.

Jamie is about 5 ft 9 inches tall, has brown curly hair and was wearing white Nike trainers and a blue tracksuit.

He is quite distinctive and has an unusual gait as he sways from side to side when walking.

Anyone with information that could assist in tracing Jamie is asked to call Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 3608 of 31 May, 2022 or speak to any officer.

 
Police in Dundee are becoming increasingly concerned for 20-year-old Jamie Collins, reported missing from the Whitfield area of Dundee since Tuesday 31 May, 2022.

He likes to travel on buses in the city, and was last seen in the Liff Road area of Dundee at about 7pm last Tuesday evening.

Locals should check sheds and garages, but officers are also asking people not to approach Jamie and to call 101 immediately if he is sighted.

Anyone travelling in the Liff Road area between 7.20pm and 8pm on Tuesday is also asked to submit any dashcam footage or recordings they may have.

Chief Inspector David Bradley said: "We are really concerned for Jamie's welfare and are asking anyone with any information at all that could potentially assist with our search to please come forward urgently. He is a particularly vulnerable individual and it is imperative he is traced as quickly as possible."

Any information can be passed to Police Scotland via 101, quoting reference number 3608 of 31 May, 2022.

 
New CCTV sighting images added.

Police in Dundee are continuing their search for Jamie Collins, 20, reported missing from the Whitfield area of Dundee since Tuesday, 31 May, 2022.

Through extensive enquiries, Jamie was last spotted on CCTV getting off a bus at the bus terminal in Ninewells Hospital, Dundee at around 7.50pm on Tuesday, 31 May, 2022.

He is then thought to have then walked in the direction of Kirsty Semple Way.

Officers are releasing the CCTV images to the public in order to help trace Jamie.

Jamie is about 5ft 9 inches tall, has shoulder-length brown curly hair and was last seen wearing white Nike trainers and a blue tracksuit.

He is quite distinctive as he has an unusual gait as he sways from side to side when walking.

Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for Jamie and enquiries are ongoing to trace him.

Locals should check sheds and garages, but officers are also asking people not to approach Jamie and to call 101 immediately if he is sighted.
