She was then seen on CCTV outside on Dumbarton Road talking to a man, who police are keen to speak to.

The nurse was then seen walking west along Dumbarton Road with the man away from the city centre towards Church Street.

Although as Ironside pointed out earlier the police scotland statement suggests she walked away alone

Also on the Find Karen page it says she was last seen headed toward byres rd rather whereas all other articles only say she headed toward church st, which implies she turned up church st, which would make sense with the police helicopter and police being focused on the grounds of the Western Infirmary (at least at some point today)

Can't stop thinking about this one, I've taken that shortcut to byres rd many times walking back from nights out myself. Really hope she's okay.

In that article it said she was last seen 'catching up' with a man. I'm unsure whether that means she was catching up chatting as in 'we need to catch up' or she picked up speed in order to get the mans attention?

That's a good point, I suppose it's open to interpretation. I assumed catching up as in chatting but it's a bit of a strange phrase to use as it implies a prior relationship

I keep thinking about her leaving without her coat, it must have been chilly out. I know her friends say she wasn't drunk but if they were 'pre-drinking' in their flat, and then I read a comment saying she was in Viper on Great Western Rd at 11.30 but this unsubstantiated and I haven't seen it anywhere official, then at sanctuary at 11.45 to 1am, she might not have been drunk but I don't reckon she was sober either. The only explanation I can think for leaving her jacket was she was drunk or she expected to return to the club

There was a comment on Facebook on the Find Karen page, so obviously a rumour, that she didn't leave her coat as such, she had given it to a friend to wear in the club. So that makes it a bit less like she was too drunk to remember it was in the cloakroom or whatever.

This has finally made the UK national news with BBC Radio 2 covering it on the last two hourly news bulletins. I'm in England and had heard nothing about the case except here at WS. They didn't have any further update about the man who is "assisting with enquiries"
