AP sister? I doubt it

I see, I haven't got the time right. 12.30am (not 12.30pm). Thought, she had helped him in some way (disposing of bag, something like that) without knowing more of the night before. But no, the time isn't suitable then.

Sorry where have you got the idea that the sister was involved - I've not seen anything to suggest that in the sligjtest

I thought, the girl on CCTV may be pretty young and I thought (see above), the time was 12.30pm on Sunday. At that time AP was driving around with his car; perhaps AP needed help and asked his sister. He hadn't to admit the truth to her, if she wasn't in his flat. Perhaps AP needed someone for dumping Karen's bag in the nearby park. The bag was found on Wednesday - time enough to ask someone to do this for him.

I do not want to suspect his little sister without reason. I just wondered whom a 21-year old would ask for a "little help" on the day after the murder?

BUT: time is totally wrong, my thought would be obsolete, sorry.

I'm surprised they haven't appealed for this lady sooner, I assume they have her on CCTV near to Karen, she may have overheard something. Odd that she hasn't already come forward if that is the case, I guess she mustn't have noticed.

Sky news reporting the potential witness has been traced.

Doesn't say either way. Just says she's been traced.

This women was spotted in the streets near the club and later getting into a taxi and leaving the area, this was a full half an hour or so before Karen left the club with AP. This rules out many theories that many had including myself that she may have seen Karen being attacked or abducted in the streets. Looking at the timescale this was not the case.

This girl was heading home early was she pestered by AP before he turned his attentions to Karen?

She's clearly been in the vicinity at a time where she could have seen something connected to the case. Be interesting to find out what. I wondered if perhaps she was a working girl hence why she didnt come forward, or she maybe genuinely didn't put the pieces together. Of course she might not actually know anything.

This woman was on CCTV in the streets near the club getting a taxi and leaving at around 12:30 AM, a full half an hour before Karen told her friends that she was going to the bathroom in the club at around 1 AM

It has been suggested this lady my hold vital information in the investigation, did she talk to AP, Karen or both at some stage? Did AP try they trick that he did on Karen on this lady unsucessfully?

I was thinking along those lines,

I was thinking along those lines,

If that is indeed the case it means he was looking for a victim but it was random and Karen was not stalked.

Maybe not and the fact she appeared on CCTV half an hour before Karen left the club may explain why it took this long to look for her. Police may have been concentrating on the CCTV after the time Karen left the club not before hand.

Karen Buckley’s parents thank people of Scotland for support
‘We will never forget the huge outpouring of support and sympathy we got in Scotland’

In a statement issued through the Irish Examiner, Mr John Buckley said Scottish people had been very helpful to the family right from the moment they discovered Karen was missing.
“We are very grateful for all the support and messages of sympathy we received from so many people from all over Scotland at this terrible time for our family. We would like to thank everybody in Scotland who helped us in any way.”

He and his wife Marian thanked the Scottish police for their professionalism. He made particular mention of the efforts of Detective Inspector Alan Burton and Sergeants Hannah Naseem and Elaine Carey who travelled to Ireland for Karen’s funeral.
“It was a very kind and thoughtful thing to do. We will never forget the huge outpouring of support and sympathy we got when we were in Scotland, it was incredible.
“We want to thank everybody who took part in the search for Karen and the hundreds of people who turned out for the vigil in George Square. ”

"company director" AP at the age of 21? A courier firm no one's ever heard of?
Cover up for drug dealing maybe? Laundering?

Perhaps that's what he was doing hanging out around night clubs? Business?

His previous conviction for forging notes.. 6 grand worth.. they were never circulated. Articles on the story say "police were given information he may be involved with forging".
Who gets grassed up for fake money that isn't even on the streets...??? Someone with enemies.. or a drug debt...

I've heard a lot more stories on AP and the murder but they can't be published while the case is ongoing.
Unfortunately, as with most cases in Scotland, what gets published from Police, Crown office and Courts reports it's only a fraction of the whole story.

I mean to have read, that AP's mother had the courier firm before?
