RSBM - good old daily fail

The mail's strength is the pictures it publishes. As far as I have been able to search , that is the only picture I have seen published anywhere in MSM.

From Lucy's link above

Police yesterday set up forensic tents in the woodland after receiving a tip-off about the van.

They confirmed today the area has "proved negative" and are continuing their searches.

This forest is so huge that she may never be found.
Poor Bernadette Walker has still not been found :(

I was thinking about her yesterday. It defies belief that two idiots could manage to hide her that well. They must have had a huge amount of luck.

Does anyone know what AB does for employment? I'm pondering the possibiity that she may have asked him for help transporting a large item (seeing as he has a van)?

At the moment I am not thinking that this was planned, reasoning, the local LE have not reported themselves to the IOPC, so at this moment there does not seem to be any reported DV in their past relationship.

What are other posters thoughts?

I was also wondering his occupation? I think there was a link in an earlier post regarding being cleared of theft?

There is a link on here for previous that I believe mentions theft of a car from a company he had worked for.

The article states

John 0'Shea, prosecuting, said a car was stolen from Redline Motors, Accrington and later sold through Loot for £2,700.

So I guess at that time, he was a car salesman.

He was found not guilty of stealing the car, but guilty of perverting the course of justice. So presumably someone else stole the car and he did something to cover up for them.

RIP Katie
We can sadly confirm that our officers searching for missing Katie Kenyon have found the body of a woman.

Our officers made the discovery last night (Friday, April 29th) in an area of the Forest of Bowland after receiving new information about a location where Katie could be.

At this stage, although we are not in a position to formally confirm the woman’s identity, we do believe the body is that of Katie. Her family have been told and they continue to be supported by specially trained officers. Our thoughts are with them at this time.

A Home Office post-mortem examination will now be carried out to try to establish the cause of death.

We would like to thank the public and the media for all the help they have given us during what has been a protracted, complex and very emotive search and we would also like to thank both the partner agencies and all of the police officers and staff who have been involved in the search for Katie. While this is not the conclusion to those searches any of us would have wished for, we know the family appreciate those efforts.

Once again, our thoughts today are with Katie’s family and all of her loved ones.

A man appeared in crown court yesterday (Friday, April 29th) charged with Katie’s murder.

Andrew Burfield, 50, of Todmorden Road, Burnley will face trial in November.

I am pleased Katie has been located. I wonder if AB told police where to look.

So desperately sad. So sorry for her kids, family, friends and the community. A tragedy. She can now rest in peace and thankfully her loved ones can have closure and grieve. Fly high Katie
