I wonder if she grew up being abused by her father. My heart goes out to her and her loved-ones.

Has there been a day lately, when we didn't hear about a girl/woman killed? :(

RIP to all of them.

Are we doomed to write these words again and again?

A court has been played audio of the moment a father allegedly reversed at speed into his teenage daughter - before killing her by driving over her again.

Lauren Malt, 19, died on 23 January after trying to protect her boyfriend from being attacked with a crowbar by her father outside her Norfolk home, a court heard.

[...]

Prosecutor Andrew Jackson QC said: “Rather than switch off his engine and get out the car he took instead the conscious and deliberate step of driving forwards over her body.

Gosh reading that makes you realise how deliberate this was and not any sort of accident.

I'd rather believe it was a terrible accident, but his behaviour afterwards doesn't seem to fit with the shock you'd expect in him if it had been accidental. Picking her up and taking her to his ex wife instead of waiting for an ambulance?
