So, two more arrested, making three in police custody, and the unemployed man who got burnt, Nigel Farmer, has already been charged with murder.

It must have been three, then, who did this wicked deed.

It's now looking more and more as though drug-dealing and supply is involved somewhere:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
One of the suspects was a woman!?! I don't know why that should surprise me, but it does.

I can imagine the suspects being involved in drugs, but something makes me balk at supposing the victims were also involved. I think I want to know for sure before I label them, just out of respect for their families. Yeah...I know... but I can't help it, I get old-fashioned sometimes.

"and credit cards are believed to be missing. "

Makes you wonder if these people were stupid enough to go to Cash Machines or stores and got on camera using or attempting to use the victims stolen credit cards

So now a fourth person has been arrested in this bizarre and brutal murder.

Seems quite a lot of people went to an awful lot of trouble.

I guess they must have been pretty, well - very - angry about something.

The ages given for the four arrested to date are: 35, 33, 25, 23:

Thanks for the update. It really is bizarre. All 4 if guilty must be really twisted mentally to have taken part in something this bad. The amount of times these guys were stabbed is staggering.

Some sort of thrill killing, do you think? The motive not drugs or loot, but the murder itself? One guy is the psychopathic leader, the others the sheep-like followers.

I dont know Rudolf but I reckon its more than that. I am sure we will soon find out. Whatever the reason, this was a really sick brutal over the top massacre of these two men.

  • #48
The story of the fourth arrest in this case is currently the top story on Google News UK and there are currently 985 stories worldwide about it listed on Google. The police had earlier put out an alert about the 'dangerous' Daniel, or Dano, Sonnex (now in custody), said to be a local from the New Cross area of our increasingly dangerous capital city

One of them is being arraigned tomorrow. Do you know if that means a motive will be put forth, or are they just charged with no explanation of why they did this? I just want to know what caused them to become worse than animals.

I dont think it means we will find out the motive, at least not yet.
The arraignment just means that the defendants are informed of the charges against them and they are expected to make a plea.

Rudolf asked: "Do you know if that means a motive will be put forth?"

REPLY: No. What will happen is a very brief statement of facts and a request to enter a plea. Something like:

"Mr Farmer. Stand up please. Will you please confirm your full name and address. It is alleged that on * July 2008 you did, with others, murder -A- and -B- at ***, New Cross, London. How do you plead? Guilty or Not Guilty?"

After he says, presumably, that he is not guilty, there may be an application for bail - unlikely in this cae, I should think.

The defence has the right to challenge the charge by suggesting there is 'no case to answer'. To put it another way, they can suggest that the prosecution does not even have an arguable case i.e. they do not have a 'prima facie' case.

If, as we read, Nigel Farmer gave himself up to the police, he may well have told them everything

Seems Daniel, or Dano, Sonnex had a considerable history of 'serious violence':

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/crime/article4313038.ece

One wonders why such people are not locked up until they are too old to be able commit any further such crimes. A question that may well be examined more thoroughly after the trial, which one anticipates will not be long away.

Murders in Britain are routinely re-classified as manslaughter, enabling the criminal to get light sentences of a few years, which are halved for so-called 'good behaviour'. Some of these murderers, sorry manslaughterers, then kill or maim others.

Not surprising that there have been 20 fatal stabbings (never mind many other murders) in the capital of the U.K. this year alone.

Law and order is breaking down here...

You are SO right Tony. Law and Order is a total mess over here. The sentences are so low for serious crimes thats it not even funny. The criminals fear nothing and they know even if they are caught that they may very well end up getting less than a slap on the wrist.
Britain is a scary place to be right now.
Two guys tried to drag my neighbour from his car the other day in broad daylight while he waited at traffic lights IN traffic. They wanted his car and they didnt care that people could see them trying to take it.

There continue to be major surprises in this investigation.

Now there have been SIX arrests in this terrible double killing.

What DID possess all these killers?

Wow thats scary that all six had the same mindset to do such a brutal thing to these two young men. This gets more interesting with each update. Thankyou Tony for keeping up with these links:)

I actually ( I can't believe I did it)spent time tracking down important dates relating to the Manson family. I couldn't find any. I think this was done during a New Moon, which meant there was no moon, but I don't know if that was significant. Probably not. Thanks so much for the update. Is there any Druidic calendar connection that you know of? Not that there should be, but if this is a weird cult thing, they maybe sacrificing to some entity. It just gets more horrible.

I have checked.

These horrific murders took place on Sunday 29 June 2008.

The next New Moon was Thursday 3 July 2008.

There must surely have been a degree of planning about this, for whatever reason.

Otherwise, they must have been out of their heads on crack cocaine
