I dont think this has anything to do with drugs gangs. Haydon suffered with mental health problems. I think the stress of Leahs disappearance and him believing x was involved and getting away with it was too much for him to bare. Its just so sad that he didn't seek help and thought this was his only option. I hope he's at peace now.

I still firmly believe leah and x's relationship/ affair is the cause of leahs disappearance. It was premeditated and planned with knowledge of how an investigation works. My theories are :

X had an arranged marriage but loved leah. This caused outrage within his family or spouses. They arranged for leah to disappear. X had no involvement but cannot say anything out of fear.

More likely :
X didn't want to see leah anymore and Leah wasn't happy about this, she threatened to expose relationship. X couldn't have Shame brought on him or family so he arranged for leah to disappear. The police cant seem to find anything on x , I believe he had a strong alibi, possibly at work and someone very close to x is directly involved in Leahs disappearance. OR the police could have messed up and evidence was destroyed early on in the investigation and it was x on his own.

It has alot of similarties to poor Laura Wilson murder.

I feel so bad for leahs family as I think this will remain a cold case unless a body is found or someone comes forward with information.

Thought I would post the link to the police , in case anyone feels like slipping them some info on Leah’s whereabouts or anything that helps the investigation:

Public Portal

Be that brave person who makes that contact. Pass on info about X or Leah or any snippet that may be relevant. What happened to her phone? What have you been told or overheard? Who else is involved? Do the right thing..,

Yeah it is very quiet. As previously stated I think MrX holds the key as to what happened to Leah due to his secret relationship with her.

I cant help thinking that the police have not done enough to investigate this.

The below statements from the same news article throws up some red flags for me.

"Today John said: "He has not talked to the police...We have reached the end. The end of waiting patiently... The end of keeping quiet."

Police say they spoke to Mr X early in the investigation and have no reason to be suspicious."

Leahs father John states the MrX has not spoken to the police. This tells me that MrX has admitted knowing Leah through work, gave an alibi for the day she went missing and then no commented on all other questions.

With regards to the police, how can they say they have no reason to be suspicious when he has not been forthcoming. Also he will not allow access to his phone where deleted messages can be retrieved.

All that may be legal when not charged or whatever but to me that is highly suspicious. That police statement rankles me.

Of course MrX can be innocent and has conducted himself in a way to protect his standing in the community. I think not and hope one day that loose lips cracks this case open.

I dont think this has been mentioned so excuse me if it has.

Haydon sadly took his life on the Nine month anniversary- do you think he was trying to make a statement that Leah was pregnant or is it just a coincidence?

I find that idea very far-fetched. If he knew something like that, surely he would have told someone.

How is it far fetched? Most people mark twelve months as significant. His family have suggested he found this 9month anniversary particularly hard - why would that be?

  • #129
He has already appeared in court over Mr x maybe police warned him it would seriously harm their investigation if he announced publicly she was pregnant

I think at this stage the parents would have said something if she had been pregnant.

It's far-fetched because, as I said, he would not have kept such an important factor to himself.
And also because nine months is meaningless in the context of Leah's disappearance. If she had been pregnant, her child would have been due less than nine months after she disappeared.

Hi, newbie here. I mainly joined websleuths for Leah's case. There's been hardly any media coverage and it's gone very quiet recently with no new updates. I don't understand why the police are so adamant Mr X has nothing to do with it. Not sure if I'm allowed to mention this (I'm hoping so as I'm not mentioning his name and I'm pretty sure this has been in MSM somewhere) but the police searched Leah's family home, cars etc. But they did not search anything of Mr X. Leah's dad even asked the police to check Mr X clothing for DNA from the night before she went missing. Mr X has also refused to talk to police or let them search his home or car.

Hi dotr,

Thank you for the warm welcome. This case just really bothers me. I feel like if the police did a little bit more digging they could easily solve this case. People don't just vanish into thin air!

As far as I recall, Haydon had lost his sister, his girlfriend, his job, his home and been taken to court - all within those nine months. If Leah has not gone missing, perhaps none of those subsequent events would have occurred. On top of this, everyone in his family was also dealing with their loss of Leah. I think that would have been enough to have a detrimental effect on anyone’s mental wellbeing. So the only significant to nine months in my opinion, is that it was another unbearable milestone.

I remain convinced that X needs to have a sensible dialogue with the police. I don’t think X has anything to fear if he is innocent. I would be interested to know why he may not want to talk to the police (or the local media) if he is innocent.

20 months and the family have not a single clue of what happened to her. .
Leah Croucher's aunt speaks out on 20 month anniversary of her disappearance from Milton Keynes
From link, thanks..
''Teresa added: "Someone somewhere knows something. People don’t just vanish. Have heart and help us...help her parents find some kind of peace.

"No family deserves to live with this kind of torture and that’s what it is for all of us it’s torture but for John and Claire (Leah's mum and dad), saying it’s nightmare doesn’t even come close."

Have you noticed how anything in the media comes from the family now? Not the police, it's like the police have completely given up on her. Still baffles me that a young girl can vanish in broad daylight walking to work and no one seems particularly bothered? I really think the police should bug the secret boyf house.

It's almost like its more convenient for the police for it to remain a missing persons case.

The police’s media on this has always baffled me.

I do not believe though that the police have ever given up. I do not believe that they ever will give up either. It does feel impossibly slow.

Does TVP have tasers issued as routine? Would it be possible for a police-issued taser to be fired off-duty without it being known? I am wondering if any of X’s associates would have been able to get hold of one around the time of Leah’s disappearance. (This is just me pondering and no actual knowledge. Saw the itv drama, Honour, and was idly wondering about family loyalty vs UK law, but that was a different situation potentially).
