What is clear is that the Community Group is leading this investigation. I’ve never seen the TVP issue a statement for an online group to disseminate.
Anyone know of case where this has happened before?
I agree. I think a lot of what the fb group is coming up with is a bit bonkers tbh but I greatly admire the way they've grabbed control of the narrative.
The disappearance of Leah is not a homicide one but a community investigation. The police only usually actively pursue missing persons cases if they suspect foul play. This does not mean that they are uniterested and not following any new leads but they will have lists of people who they believe choose for whatever reason to disappear. If they do have new leads then I will be interested to see where this goes <modsnip>What is clear is that the Community Group is leading this investigation. I would have thought unless Leah has been trafficked she would have at least reached out to the police regarding any signs of life. This is especially in light of the family heartache in losing their son. On the other hand there may be a terrible sense of feelings of guilt.I agree. One huge recent change is the Family’s decision to step back a bit. Left the community to wonder if they (and the police) knew something that has not been released. I think it has more to do with a birth in the family. Either way, speculation has skyrocketed since the ‘confession’.
What also makes this case extra sad is the national media almost dropping their interest in the case after her brother passed.
Firstly, we can't assume that there were no "troubles" within the family. And secondly, factors that push people into suicide often originate outside the family. Is it normal for two people who live in a family home that is without troubles to both be suicidal.
Back to the Eaton Bray barn again. Shortly after my observation and finding what I thought was the exact place mentioned in the newspapers an eager eyed sleuth found the image of 'barn lady' on Google maps. This was confirmed as the very same farmhouse I found so I am keen to hear what the outcome was.Someone pointed this out to me as happened around the same time of Leah Crouchers disappearance.
Milton Keynes woman denies leaving her three dogs to starve to death in her seven-bedroom house
The dog owner said in her statements that she had to leave her farmhouse suddenly in February 2019 because she feared for her life after being attacked by people with a vendetta against her.
Note **Leah Croucher has been missing since February 15 2019**

I think there may well be things 'locals' are aware of that we don't know about and the post may have stirred things up if this is the case with some sleuths local to Milton Keynes following the thread.Don't you think that they found the 'face' at the very same place simply because that's where they looked? I assume at least some of the people in the fb group are here too.

Yeah I looked at Wayne Couzens old repair garage and a crane is there digging on Google maps two Months after it was closed down and derelict. Think of the body which could have slipped into the dug hole. That is how an over imaginative mind works.Sure, but what I'm saying is that if they had looked instead at google images of Wayne Couzens' woodland, they would probably have found something face-like there too, because that's how the human brain works. But it wouldn't have been indicative of the fact that local people had good reason to believe there was a link between him and Leah, so much as that people reading this thread might have seen him mentioned, wanted to take a closer look, and almost inevitably found something face-like. I think that's all that's happened in relation to the EB farm.
Sorry, I don't know what this refers to. Could you elaborate @Poopsnack?
