Found Deceased UK - Lee Horton, 36, missing from Evesham (Worcs.), last seen in central Bristol, 11 Mar 2025

I've put a timeline together with information found either from FB group BringLeeHome and media reports. Let me know if I should add anything or if anything is incorrect - I'm very ill at the moment and have major brain fog.

10/03/25 ~08.00 - Lee leaves home to travel to Bristol

11/03/25 ~07-09.00 - Family says that a male (Lee) had slipped into the river but was fine by the time emergency services arrived. They took Lee back to hospital.

11/03/25 ~morning - Tries to book accommodation in Bristol, doesn't find anywhere that can take cash

11/03/25 10.30 - Discharged from Bristol hospital according to family members

11/03/25 10.45 - Seen on Upper Maudlin St, Bristol

11/03/25 ~11.00 - Seen on Queens Rd, Bristol

11/03/25 11.50 - Lee’s sister receives a message from him saying he was lost and wanted to get out of his wet clothes (this could be either before or after he tries to book accommodation)

11/03/25 ~12.00 - Withdraws cash according to family

11/03/25 ~12.00 - Phone activity ceases & last known contact with family

11/03/25 ~13.00 - Seen in Broadmead, Bristol. Visits several retail outlets, and gets on and straight off a bus

11/03/25 14.40 - Lee catches a train to Worcester, pays in cash

11/03/25 15.33 - Lee gets off the train at Gloucester

11/03/25 15.46 - Lee leaves ASDA Gloucester and walks towards Station Road

12/03/25 MIDDAY - Missing persons report filed by family

Are searches being conducted in and around the river in Gloucester? Does anyone know if CCTV has been checked to see where he went after Asda? I'm not on Facebook. Do we know if the family members have gone to Gloucester? Thank you

If you search for his name on Facebook, you will find a discussion of many sightings in North/West Devon heading into East Cornwall. Interestingly, nearly past my house! Whoever this person is and it may not be him, seems to be walking on busy roads, not footpaths or trying to stay out of sight.

I’ve seen these posts - there’s a few saying they thought they saw him at a bus station this should easily be confirmed with CCTV

I hope they get positive news soon - one thing in his favour is the last week or so has been pretty warm for this time of year in England

Detectives have now confirmed that he paid cash for a ticket to Worcester and caught a train at around 2.40pm on Tuesday 11 March.
BBM
I wonder why he paid for a ticket to Worcester but did not get off there.
More to the point, why buy a ticket to Worcester rather than Evesham? He needed to change trains there but it was apparently not his intended destination.

Not suspicious 🤔 so how did he die I cant find any info anywhere... It seemed to me he was on his way home and got off at the wrong stop

I think "not suspicious" means that the police don't suspect anyone else was involved in his death. I doubt if the cause of death will be revealed until the post-mortem has been carried out.

Sorry I disagree with you.

This is a guy who as far as we know had no reason to be visiting Bristol.. ended up ‘falling’ in the river but was rescued.

He then left the hospital and IMO was adamant on ending his life on that day.

He rang his sister to say he was on his way home... We've all been on benders before

Is there any proof he was on a bender?

I don’t remember seeing that he was out in Bristol the night before
So you think it's non suspicious he gets off at the wrong stop on the train probably just heard cester at the end and then is discovered dead.....after saying he was on his way home... I'm sorry but I think the police are a little too quick with their case closed nothing to see here philosophy nowadays

Is there any proof he was self harming going in that river and not just massively drunk on a bender and fell in.... The Hospital didn't seem concerned

How many times have you got off at the wrong train stop? My answer is zero.

And I’m sure if I got off at the wrong station I’d wait for the next train.

I’d understand this theory if he was old or suffering from dementia

As I said earlier upthread in the UK it’s highly unlikely he was taken into hospital at 9am and released by 1030.. that suggests a self discharge to me our hospitals don’t work so fast.
