Liam was last seen boarding a 202 bus in Aberdeen, it’s believed CCTV showed him getting off in Lumphanan. It’s now been concluded that was not Liam. Police say he bought a ticket for Raemoir Rd, Banchory and are now focusing searches there.

On the 0730 BBC North East news, the search for missing 16 year old Liam Smith from Aberdeen will resume this morning in Banchory where it's now thought he got off a bus on Saturday.

New images of missing Aberdeen 16-year-old Liam Smith have been released by @NorthEPolice - taken at Union Square shopping centre on Saturday afternoon before he boarded a bus. It's understood he bought a ticket for Banchory where police have been searching today.

Officers have released CCTV of missing teenager Liam Smith, 16, which was captured at Union Square shopping centre in #Aberdeen on Sat, 17 Nov, which shows the distinctive way in which he walks. Anyone who has seen Liam should contact police on 101 using ref 1302 of 18 Nov.

... UPDATE: Police say that following the discovery of the body of a 51-year-old man in the Marischal Gardens area of Aberdeen this morning that there were no apparent suspicious circumstances.

In case you missed it: CCTV footage of missing Aberdeen 16-year-old Liam Smith shows the 6ft 4in teenager's "distinct gait" which police hope might help jog memories. It's thought he later got off a bus in the Banchory area. He's been missing since Saturday.

The 16 year old went missing on Saturday 17th November in Aberdeen, and was last seen boarding a 202 Stagecoach bus.
