OH! That makes much better sense. Thanks.

Lets hope he is telling everything now.
Sorry for my previous abrupt reply, I was trying to find the bench on Google Earth. The bench the forensics team are at is on Oak Playing Fields, close to the play area.

Stand by for a lot of confused posts about benches....

What could they actually find by the bench though ? Obviously nothing that they could see on the ground as they have been over this area so many times ? What would still be left after a week ?

Blood, semen, vomit, urine, fingerprints, fibres, hair, scratch marks.

I'm not sure how they test for it all but I think luminol can show blood up for years after the event. The weather will not help matters but there must still be something there.

Am not sure. MSM seem to be using that 9.11 timing but have not indicated whether that is based on police station or if it is the time he was taken from his home.
Amazingly it's something they (MSM) get wrong virtually every time. I expect it's his arrest time.

The bench seems to remain the main focus.

Updates on ninth day of search for missing Libby Squire
It looks to me as if there is a beam of light from above so they might have a helicopter up.

Can this bench be accessed by car? Wondering how long a walk it would be with someone, either conscious or unconscious

Don’t know if any of you have seen and it may not be related but there is a 14 year old lad that’s been missing in hull for 3 days!

Traces of bodily fluids?

Did being on TopCat teach you nothing? :p
They place the markers down next to specific things they want to photograph, as in "here is Exhibit A, your honour"

Ha ha ha!!! I blame Benny!

So long as the bench doesn't have grey hair and a long beard then I'm fine.

Murder charge tomorrow? Maybe?
I would be surprised if not. I've been expecting it to go like this, them holding him as long as they can then hitting him with a murder charge.

Footprints?

I still think he is innocent - aaagh

He's told them about something that happened on the bench?

That’s my guess.

Possibly, after denying that he was in the park, he has now been shown some evidence that he was there and has amended his story, but said he left LS , alive, sitting on the bench.... cue forensics to go back and search again.

Screenshot_20190209-203213.png Screenshot_20190209-203225.png There are two benches along that path. The bench I previously showed nearer the park, and this other one over by trees nearer the river. There are a lot of benches in that area though, but the others seem to be picnic benches rather than normal benches like in the forensic photos.

Hey - another newby here, although I’ve been lurking for a while. I’ve seen a few posts suggesting that Libby could have been swept away and ended up in the sea. I’m not familiar with Hull and the river there - is that a likely scenario? Because really - where is she? The searches have been focused on the local area so police must be pretty convinced that whatever happened happened nearby and she wasn’t taken elsewhere, but she’s not been found. Well - looks like they’ve found *something* now, and I guess we’ll eventually find out what. It’s just really hard to put together what happened here.

They only need to find one of his hairs and one of hers to place them together. You would have thought they would have found something by now but it must be like looking for a needle in a haystack
