Police continue search of Oak Road Playing Field
Humberside Police are back searching Oak Road Playing Fields as they continue to search for evidence surrounding Libby’s disappearance.

Detectives have until 9.11pm tonight to quiz the number one suspect, a man, aged 24.

The ‘tools / lipgloss’ were ruled out . Maybe she had a new expensive phone for Christmas and didn’t want to risk taking it out , my sons cracked 2 screens now on his phones taking them out when drinking, so I suppose going all out as a group would be a decent reason for not bothering to take it with you if you were worried about it getting dropped when drinking / dancing ... my daughter however can’t even have a shower without taking her phone to bathroom
Good idea regarding the phone: I have been wondering why she left it behind. Maybe being pestered by an ex or the suspect. Police have phone so they will know.

‘Asked if they knew anyone who lived where he lives ?’ Almost like thinking there’s someone else then at address ....

Was there not a neighbour/person quoted at some earlier stage in the investigation who said there was another man who used to drive the car ?

Well spotted.
Libby Squire police use infrared cameras in search as they hold out hope missing student could still be found alive
Interesting questions aren't they? I've copied a bit here:

Detectives returned to the street yesterday to quiz neighbours once more.

A source said: "All residents were given a form with seven questions on to complete.

"It asked where they were the night Libby went missing, if they know her, had they seen any suspicious activity in the street before the arrest and had they ever noticed the car before.

"It also asked if they knew anyone who lives at the number where Relowicz lives."

Asking these questions so late in the investigation, possibility of an encomplos? Either way it doesnt sound like the suspect is changing or giving any more info to his recollection of the night and they're holding out for the slightest clue. I would of thought his neighbours would of been interviewed already.

I count 4 questions? unless I've hit Sunday morning brain fog

Regarding wearing shorts in the cold. Some people just don't feel it. I knew a Canadian who always wore shorts because UK winters 'were never cold'. Assuming the CCTV man and PR are one and the same, he comes from Poland where the winters are, by and large, more severe than here.

Regarding phones being left at home. Some people are just 'scatty' and will forget things and leave things behind when going out. Also worth bearing in mind that not everyone is perpetually plugged into the matrix. Given LS's age it is more likely that her mobile is an important part of her life but not everyone that age grants them so much importance.

Just because someone behaves in a way you do not or you consider 'strange' does not necessarily make it so. People are different.

it still baffles me as to why the family of suspect know his version of the events that evening. If someone made a pass at my OH im sure he wouldnt tell his mum about it.

I didn’t think you could be released on bail if you haven’t been given a charge, otherwise what are you bailed for?

You definately can be...
The rules changed late last year..and it is now often referred to as being released under investigation.
Initial bail is 28 days ( rather than indefinite length of time as it used to be ) then it can be increased by one month and then by another month.
After this 3 month period the police have to provide a strong reason if they wish to continue the bail.

Can he be charged and kept in with just withholding information?

Searches at Oak Road playing fields
The car park remains closed and there are no sign of any searches taking place at the moment. It is believed officers are briefing in a hut onsite.’ in above link

I just saw that as the police being careful not to ask *leading* questions...leaving it up to the neighbours to provide the information without any hint as to occupancy being already stated by police.
But at the same time, it could, as you say, open the door to neighbours giving info on other occupants, who were unknown to the police.

I don’t see shorts I seem to see, very clearly infact wellies. You can see the bend in them at the foot when he sits. I think he’s wearing grey joggers that I’ve seen him in, in another photograph.
