Maybe the fact that the mum and sister have been talking to the press declaring innocence Is meaningful , when his actual wife who lives with him 24/7 hasn’t said a peep, except presumably to LE.

Wouldn't he have rather gone to a pub or club if he was looking for some action? Who chooses a girl who can barely walk and might throw up on you or in your car for a bit of fun on the side? Doesn't sound very likely to me.

Similarly, who sits 20 minutes in the cold if they only wanted to help? Why does he need so much time to get her if he wanted to help her? I don't believe it.

I think his intentions were quite sinister.

Do we know he sat in the cold for 20 minutes though ? We havent seen full clips of the whole length of time. He may have got back into the car and closed the door at some point.
I also wonder if he gave LS something to drug her during that time.
We have grey beardy stopping to speak to LS around 11.45pm and, from what info we have there, it seems that LS said she didn't need help - so she was capable of speaking to him.
Then we have the cctv clips just after midnight, which many viewers believe shows a female ( LS ) being assisted into the car, or even being forcibly put into the car.
So what happened during that short length of time to make LS appear to be very out of it and incapable of independent movement. It could just be the fact that she had sat in the cold for another 15 minutes or so, but it could also be something he gave her.
And, it could explain the reason he waited for 15 - 2o minutes, to allow whatever it was to take effect ?

Where’s the graveyard please ?

There's a few in hull. Waiting for press confirmation of the area. I believe there were other reports of screams that night. Police are in attendance at the moment.

Personally, I'm afraid to say I think it's more likely if she is semi conscious that it was more likely an act or harm which rendered her so. Hard to imagine her accepting a (drugged) drink of some kind from a stranger in that scenario, in my opinion. I think this was a combo of opportunistic and spontaneity, not premeditated.

Hello everyone. I haven't posted on websleuths since the Sarai Sierra case but have been following this case closely.

Very interesting reading all your comments.

I'm over my clubbing/partying days now, but when I was in my teens and twenties I used to go out and drink a lot (lots of cheap promotions on student nights). This was mostly in Birmingham.

There are creeps who hang around takeaways and opposite nightclubs looking for vulnerable women. Mostly they would be in cars, offering lifts, and there were a few times when I stupidly accepted (always with a friend) - sometimes they would act as if they knew you from college or the place you worked. Of course the majority are just looking for some "fun" and not anything necessarily criminal, but I can totally see how a situation could get completely out of hand. When drink is involved, the situation can turn nasty in a second.

I hope they find her soon :(

What's taking us to graveyards? I've missed something somewhere.
The part that makes me feel there was maybe a struggle is where she is standing in the street, her knees are facing the exit and she seems to step in that direction but it looks as though she is whipped around in an arc, as if P. grabs her and sort of half turns her towards him. That still appears to be the case to me when slowed down.
I totally agree, Stella—saw this, too, on an early viewing of the video. To me, the benign interpretation is that she was sort of drunkenly swaying as she stood there (as one will when one has had a few too many drinks), and that the sudden jerking movement you observed was the other individual’s attempt to shore her up/keep her from falling over (which she’d been observed doing earlier in the evening by neighbors). The less-benign interpretation (and the one I still have after repeated viewings of this portion of the video) is that Libby had begun to feel a bit more sober, maybe due to the brisk air or a smoke, and might have suggested she felt ready to walk back home (or wherever). The sudden movement that forces Libby’s body to change position just before she sits down heavily in the car seat, then, would suggest the other person had grabbed her arm roughly and/or shoved a weapon up against her body to compel her to enter the car. All MOO, of course, and all errors in interpretation should be blamed on my 20/40 eyesight!

What I find most odd and suspicious is that he would sit for 20 minutes at midnight in the open door of his car in the freezing cold without adequate clothing. I mean, why?? Who does that? That's just very weird behaviour imo.

Some people just don't feel the cold though.

My dad wears shorts in all weather's and often sits out on his bench at night with his ecig just having some peace and quiet...when we ask him if he's cold he never is.

Thing there was a rumour that someone had been spotted with a spade or something acting suspicious.

Remember by the time this attack might have happened Libby had not drunk anything (as far we know) for upwards of 90 minutes. She must have sobered up a little bit I’d have thought
She may also have presented as more intoxicated after that time. From what the news has posted, she was intoxicated enough to have an establishment not let her in. So, she would have had to have had enough to outwardly indicated her level of intoxication. Depending on how much and when her last drink/s were, she may have actually become more outwardly intoxicated as the alcohol processed in her system. We also don't know if where she consumed her drinks was 'safe'. She could potentially have had something slipped into her drink at a previous location which could compromise her thinking and actions even more that just alcohol would. (Making it even more likely that as she sat there, from the time the man asked if she needed assistance to her abduction, her reactions times could have slowed even more and her decision making skills could have declined more.)

If there were police in a graveyard it may be unconnected as wasn't there some quite bad vandalism in one of the graveyards this week and a number of graves destroyed?

Yes we don't know on what grounds they are there. Could be unrelated.

But...IF he was texting with his thumbs after rolling the ciggie, could he have been still rowing with the wife and then he made his decision on the spur of the moment?

Possible but he doesn't look to me like someone who makes a spontaneous decision out of anger. He seems calm.

According to what the news is stating his sister has told them in interviews (Telegraph, re-printed in the Standard), he informed his family that after seeing a woman in distress and crying, he offered to drive her home. He stated to them that he put her address in his 'sat nav' before she came onto him and he pushed her away. As investigators secured his vehicle, I'm wondering what type of navi system he has. I know that some will log any places you have stopped in the past several days. Curious as to if that or perhaps his phone is what has led police to be concentrating on the area they've been at the past couple of days.

Could the taxi driver who took her home around 11pm be PR? We don't seem to have any details of this taxi. He dropped her off, saw that she was in a state. Maybe she refused his help, walked to the bench (to catch a bus back to The Welly?), he decided to keep an eye on her for safety (or other reasons) and had a takeaway in the meantime? She then might have changed her mind and walked over to his car to get a lift back to The Welly?
Just putting it out there, any thoughts?

At the graveyard? Is there a link?

Watched the slowed down video.

To me looks like some sort of struggle at the side of the car.. not like he's forcibly pushed her in but like he's had to persuade her and held onto her.

Also for a very split second as the car passes looks like he hunkers down lower and I feel like I can see dark rimmed glasses.

Maybe I'm reading way too much into it though.

Does anyone else find it odd that a 21 yr old would leave their phone at home on a night out? Police found her phone at her residence. I'm also wondering if the lip gloss (along with the screw driver and claw hammer) they found was the type she uses.

Has anyone found a news article that gives any additional info on the tools found near where she was last seen?
