Yes, all along I've thought she is in the water. The most common place for drunk missing people to end up is in water. Usually its males but still happens to females. I honestly thought from the start it was a series of unfortunate incidences, and I still think PR's low key sexual thrill has come back and bitten him more than he could ever have feared - he has done something wrong, but its lead to Libby falling in the water from running away in fear from him in her drunk state and its like Karma has got PR big time. He could never have anticipated his pervy ways would implicate him in abduction/a missing girl/queries of suspicion of murder.

Supposing all along he didn't own up to flashing Libby that night, because that would obviously look bad....if he were now to confess to 'I did flash her, she ran away in fright' he would know this would look like a half confession to having more to do with her disappearance. I truly believe he has caught himself in a bigger situation than he could ever have imagined.

Well it's unlikely she's in the lake in the park given that the police have already searched it extensively. Which would leave either the river or the drain. I'd be interested to hear from anybody with local knowledge about whether there are any points in or close to the park where it would be possible for Libby to simply 'fall in' to either.

But I don't think that's what happened. If the 15 mins of screams heard by the witness were from Libby, that was the sound of an extended attack, not somebody drowning. It is very well established that rapists and killers often begin with voyeurism and flashing, etc. If it is true that: a) Libby was in PR's car as his sister claims; and b) he is guilty of the sex crimes that he's been charged with, then I would be amazed if he is not directly responsible for her death.

Do we know how drunk L actually was on the night she went missing? She was refused entry to the club - did some of the papers not say that her friends put her in a taxi? Would she have to be very drunk for the club to refuse entry? I'm thinking if she was very drunk and incapable, would one of her friends not gone in the taxi with her to make sure she got home safely - this makes me think that she wasn't too drunk but she was drunk enough for the club to say she couldn't get in. Did someone say that some fellow students had seen her after she got out of the taxi?

Wow thanks for the road photos , for some reason I thought Libby and the bench were on the main road past the side street open entrance but now I can see she was sitting at the bollard end with no car access .... not sure how I missed that ; so the only way in to that road is off cottingham road ?

Glad you mentioned this about being in the other car because I had pondered over this idea too.

That's got me wondering the same. The guy on cctv might not be PR or have anything to do with Libby at all, maybe just picking his wife or gf up from the pub or work. It is possible Libby was sighted in the other car, by the cyclist maybe.

From both CCTV footages it a 4 minute drive, so this gives him 6 remaining minutes to do whatever, 6 minutes is not a very long time if we consider the person at this time is assumed to be in the car, so in this time he has to drive somewhere, get out of the car and hide her, does these seem plausible? So if the 2nd footage is the same car then my theory is this Citroen also plays a part in the dissapearance

I showed a friend the CCTV (cobweb)...she was unfamiliar with the case so far..I asked her what she thought.
She felt like the person who got in the passenger side went willingly, and they knew each other. She said it looked like PR (if it was him) was killing time rolling a , waiting for someone. The minute and a half when he went off camera could be to meet this person (perhaps from the last bus home or something, or
collect from take away shop)…
I can see in the CCTV the person on passenger side puts seatbelt on, looks like they have been in that car before.
Maybe above is true, but if it is PR then in the 1 and half minutes he went off screen he could have done a quick flash at Libby for a thrill before collecting the person he originally was going to pick up, although if this is the case, that person would corroborate the driver's story. Libby, startled, runs off in panic...
The thing that throws most things into doubt, however, is his sister's account of him helping a crying girl.

No we don't know how drunk she actually was.

To be refused entry to a club like The Welly in Hull she would probably need to appear to be very drunk.

We have no idea why her friends did not accompany her home.

Some students who live near to Libby's home saw her stumbling about after the taxi had dropped her off.

That sounds like very out of it indeed. In fact too much so. I wonder how much she had had to drink earlier in the evening to put her in that state, whether drugs had been involved, or even if her drink had been spiked. If those she was with were deemed sober enough to be allowed entry to the club, it makes you wonder how she got in that condition.
