Well that answer my question on I wonder if he admits to flashing at Libby

The stealing of sex toys ..how would you know which house to try ?
I can understand if taken amongst other value items

Unless he broke in a person's house he fantasised about looking for undies and struck lucky so to speak
Combination of his voyeurism hobby and pot luck.

Who knows how many houses he has actually been in.

Makes me think he stalked them before he broke in to steel in my opinion

What the hell is the point, the psychology, of entering into marriage if this is the kind of pathetic crap you are into?! Wouldn’t having a wife just make it all the more difficult for you to carry on with your sick little nocturnal adventures? Or is that part of the thrill?

I think it's been useful to him as a cover. We even had people on here saying no way he could be implicated in Libby's disappearance because he's a normal family man!

The quote from his sister also highlighted this with respect to Libby supposedly throwing herself at him - he pushed her away because he was a married man. Personally I think that excuse came straight from him.

It’s a studenty area so over the academic year he would become accustomed to what houses particular girls are living in. It sounds like he spent some time on the streets watching people or from his car and is probably very familiar with the area and back lanes. I wonder does he wear running year to look less suspicious

The Golden State Killer in California used to steal low value items such as women’s underwear and this escalated into rape and eventually murder

I just read the abductor / murderer in the Jaime Closs case stole her clothing and underwear beforehand.

Searches to continue
Humberside Police has confirmed that searches for Libby Squire will continue today.

A spokesman said: “Finding Libby remains our top priority and our searches for her will continue today. They will be focused in the same areas around Beverley Road and Oak Road playing fields”"

Has anyone seen any artists impression of him in the court? Or does that only happen in crown court? I'm looking for visual clues as to facial wounds and change of or broken spectacles

With all the cctv nowadays, can somebody really just disappear without a trace? I get that they might not recover a body sometimes but they usually still piece bits together and form an accurate conclusion. Even when RAF Corrie M went missing, they captured his final whereabouts and we know now that he likely ended up in waste disposal.
She was last seen at the bus stop apparantly (if it isn't Libby on the cctv getting in the car), so what happened then? Where did she go? Where did the car on cctv go as cctv is EVERYWHERE. If they suspect she's under water then where are the divers? They seem extremely focused on that park but have found nothing yet. What is their next lead?
Why are they not giving us any information?

I don't think jogging bottoms would be coincidental, elasticated waist and all.....

Well, he can knock his little Sat Nav story on the head then if that is one he is trying to peddle. Obviously knew Wellesley Avenue intimately.

Interesting that all these charges and addresses related to them are all within metres of his own front doorstep and under the eyes of his wife too!

I'm baffled why someone would phone the police to report that 3 vibrators have been stolen!! Finding that one rather peculiar and a tad amusing in a weird way!

Can you imagine being broken into and realising this is what they stole? I think I would find that worse than someone that had come to take away my TV and laptop personally. What a sicko.

(O/T, this is how sick some people are. I'm reminded Jayme Closs’ case, while she was still missing and abducted. Her parents had been murdered right in front of her and she was taken; their house was empty because James and Denise (her parents) were dead Jayme (unknown at the time) was being held alive in captivity by the perp. Well in the middle of all this, some “panty thief” broke in their house and took some of Jayme’s underwear! Broke into a murdered victims’ house to steal the underwear of an abducted child!)

I think they have a tight focus from a mix of CCTV and potentially GPS evidence from his phone

Sometimes perps just get lucky with their hiding places.

Very good point

Maybe they had sentimental value

Again its really common that these types of offenders start out in areas familiar to themselves.

Thankfully most get caught before they come sophisticated

Tabak is a very good example of someone who got caught on his first murder but showed a clear pattern of acting out and escalation
