Lol I can see you all talking about me as I lay here wounded! Apologies, I haven't had a lot of time, so I tend to speed/skim read the thread, so I do tend to miss a lot of info! I think there's 3 of us on the local case getting pics and video, but please feel free to pm if I've not responded - it could be I've done it but not processed it yet, ot I simply haven't seen your thread post request.

Bike is slightly damaged, and I'm walking wounded, nothing broken! I'll upload a couple more then I'm gonna have to go get checked out... ouch! Basically okay, just rally sore neck/shoulders!

This is a very interesting video...

I had always discounted the Sutton Road entrance, until now. As you can see from the video, it's not that hard for a car to drive along the river bank from Sutton Road bridge, with access to the entire park BY CAR from that corner.

Google maps does a much better job of capturing the entrance to the river bank.

sr.png - Sutton Road bridge crossing to the river looking South.

(The guy who took me out as I was cyclign along Sutton Road towards the bridge!)

christ what did he do at the end there?

Yes, yes, yes, this ^^ this ^^ this ^^ I was trying to remember her name only the other day! That was a fascinating (and truly sad) story and the ending...well! I was thinking of her with the Libby thing too.

Awww, I'm pleased lots of us still think about Susan! Hope those who haven't read it get chance to one day, to me it epitomises what we're about. Totally restored my faith in humanity after some of the grim stories we read about on here. In fact, once things have calmed down enough with Libby I think I'll go back for a re-read.

Not read the last few pages so apologies if this has already been posted but The Sun, the UK's highest selling newspaper by far, is offering £10,000 for information about the whereabouts of Libby. Now for those of you not in the UK, The Sun's often criticised for it's reporting, but they have put up this money so let's hope this prompts someone to call in.

I’m wondering why she’d go to that gym when there would be a gym at Uni much cheaper and with people she knew.
I drive past the gym daily and very often a lot of students seem to be walking to Clough Rd gym...

The bench is at the bottom of her street. Not his
He lives a fifteen min walk from there.
If she was locked out and unable to call her friends and quite drunk, the logical thing to do would be to go to the nearest bench in public view which would be that one at the top of Haworth St.
I know this because I was born and raised in Hull
I went to Hull Uni then moved to London where I’ve been for the last twenty years.
As for the suggestions he would clear things with his wife in regards to going out you’re forgetting that they’re used to a different culture.
The husbands think nothing of going out till all hours with their friends and the wives are used to it, in most cases I’ve seen.
Strangely enough I’d never heard of Oak Park till this case came up. Neither had any of my friends in Hull, despite being from all over Hull
I had friends in student houses in Wellesley in my time there and the park wasn’t known of by them either.
It’s not really a park like East or West park. It’s really more of a dog walking or fishing place.
I’m surprised PR knew of it unless he’s done a reccy for hiding places to stalk.
Haven't managed to do the quote thing properly but I do agree with this that Oak Road is not a massively known about park. It's kind of tucked away.
It is tucked away a bit in that you can't travel around it like other parks (due to the river). But to locals and people who live nearby with kids it's know as beresford park and is known about by most people. PR has children and may have visited with them

I don't know, Dibble, but I'm tempted to start a new thread about it. I'm joking of course, but it could have ended really badly. Hope our Stronts is ok!

Originally I'm sure the police said sh

I'm pretty sure that isn't Libby you know . That looks like dark trousers
So confused i'm starting to agree with that the more i watch it. I'm going over it in slow motion and pausing all the time and starting to think maybe the guy has got glasses on.?

Hoped there might have be better ones and Im unsure if useful but....

An animated trip from Youtube showing the River Hull . Video starts at the River Hull's end where it joins the Humber Estuary and journeys upstream through the City, past the Park , towards (but not reaching) it's source in the Wolds
(CovermeCagney added >>>>At 2:07 you have Croda on your left and can see the wind turbine coming into view. That's the start of the park on your left. Then as it loops round that's where the pond is. And then it's all park until you see houses.

A second doubletime real trip in the opposite direction from Clough Road Bridge ( Just after the Park?! Sadly. To the joining of the Humber (please let me know if incorrect)

I've never seen such a brown river

I can't really fully justify why but my gut feeling is that PR didn't do it. Yes he's clearly a bit weird and creepy and it would all make sense for most people if he's graduated from masturbating outside windows to stealing knickers to then finally grabbing a woman. However if it was him then I think he'd have left a lot of evidence and been caught, he's not a meticulous planner judging by the earlier accused crimes and I think to get away with this if he did it then he must be the luckiest guy ever.

Has it been said how he ended up getting charged for the other offences? I'm presuming he must have taken recordings or other evidence as the voyeurism charge was from way back in July 2017.

He could of gone to the park for a think and smoke (after dropping libby off and possibly trying it on) as he'd originally gone out due to an arguement with the wife. Meanwhile Libby is has gone/been taken elsewhere

Yep, locals know it's there. I feel like Pearson Park would be a more likely choice for PR and kids though!

I can't help thinking that there is something more sinister being investigated, hence the seemingly half-hearted search attempts starting at 10:30am and finishing around 4pm and no requests to get the public involved. Someone (can't remember who) said the police person they spoke to in the park didn't seem very enthusiastic about what they were searching for. Is the search a cover for different and deeper detective work they they don't want the public or potential perpetrators to know about?

Aha, yes, could well be. The Police statement read out thingy he said there was a lot going on behind the scenes

Yes you're right, very accessible and visible and gets busier than beresford

He was charged with an offence committed in LS street wasn't he? Maybe she was the one who reported him or he was stalking her and she had reported him. Maybe he had threatened her, maybe she had threatened to tell his missus about his creeping. Maybe that's why her friends raised the alarm so quickly and the police were on it so fast.

OR maybe he said as he was by her home "I've been in your knicker drawer" and she screamed?

Could the lack sniffer dogs in park indicate they know Libby isn't there, but was taken somewhere else, and all this activity relates to someone being seen entering the park afterwards, perhaps to discard evidence/weapon?

Good point!

Am not sure it means anything mind, but I think there's a lot of that in this case eh! My bedroom has a direct view of the river and just feels so creepy, really thought there would have been more answers by now!

Thanks!
That's Brill about being called Beresford Park by locals!

Here is another Youtube drone/ariel Camera footage of Oak Road/Beresford Park. Its a bit slow to start but may be useful.

I agree Zazie. If he hit her over the head at the bench, he could have easily and quickly carried her to her car and plopped her into the front seat (leaning her against the car door as he threw the weapon (in its bag) onto the back seat). He could then, at any later point, have disposed of the weapon in the park somewhere.

In the slowed down youtube spiderweb CCTV when the man stands up and his back faces the camera, he seems to me like he is putting something in his pocket or either down his shorts - seems like a lengthy depth movement (obviously he could be re-arranging his fave body part but thought I'd mention it).

I assumed putting tobacco/ lighter back but then I guess he would have ready done that before smoking?

I can’t see anything clear enough to distinguish that but I’d love to see a screen shot or GIF if you get one!
