It looks like this story is from 2018? Am I reading it wrong? There are othere stories about this person being wanted by Police

Im liking this a lot Paddy ( not sure about the timing of the phonecall to sister but even that I can envisage....' why on earth are you at the police station P? Well sis..... )

Ive always had the sense that somehow LE's hand was forced regarding the timing of the arrest by the knowledge that some other party ( MSM?) was about to release footage (Haworth cctv?) or information that LE felt would alert PR to their awareness of his involvement and the kind of approach youve described( tracking/monitoring him in some way) and the arrest took place earlier than they ideally had wanted( before PR had led them to LS or before LS found)

However, this would mean LE having knowledge or belief that to delay arrest by several days would not put LS at risk, meaning that somehow they were aware/ believed that she was either already dead or in someone elses care ( as surely PR would have made daily visits if holding LS somewhere)

Maybe it was during this period of monitoring that they saw him go to the park, rather than on the night in question? Thing is, if they were sure that was P in footage, I think they would swoop in straight away rather than sit and survey

I can't stop thinking about the Susan McLean case (an American in Scotland) and I think it's because all this local help is reminding me how wonderful Websleuthers can be.

It's only one thread, 42 pages long, but I'd recommend you read the whole thing when you have an hour or two. We had a member out searching diligently (with a shocking twist midway explaining why she was so keen) and another member, a friend of Susan, who flew from the US to team up with her and search. We also had Susan's husband join us.

I completely agree about seeing knee boots. Everything adds up except that part. Could quite easily be due to how grainy and dark it all is.

We are all assuming the wife was home with the baby. The wife could have been away or the wife could have (gasp) left the children at home.

Why panic? He’s not thinking about murdering her. He thinks he’s got lucky. She seems drunk enough that he might get his way with her. He’s anticipating it.
Only when she rebuffs him does it get out of hand because panic kicks in.
He already has a history of flashing and remains uncaught. Hers might be the description with which Police can catch him.

Or he says "I've been in your knicker drawer" and really freaks her out

Interesting that it's a short article a couple of days after she went missing compared to the short space of time for searching and media reports in LS case.

By that point she was even colder and more despondent.

She turns down help from someone she probably felt was a creepy old guy and a little later thinks she can trust someone closer to her age but he ends up being even more creepier and more dangerous.

I can't see the glasses in the cctv - which is a shame as this would be a massive consistency between his stalker pictures and facebook profile pictures. Very few 24 year old men wear glasses publicly in my observations. As I wear glasses my viewing is not too reliable but those trousers in the cctv look like the three quarter type trousers which PR was wearing on his facebook page.

Especially if his English is also poor it seems unlikely to me without some more context (info form Police!).

why do you say she jumped into a car?
and if she spoke with one man once, and the next man twice and she was staggering drunk, which one was the 'complete' stranger?

Just went on to Daily Fail YouTube to check for glasses. Do not see glasses. Do see above-the-knee shorts. But most interestingly of all, when rewatching the passenger seat activity, it looks to me like the first piece of activity was the passenger moving to get in but being stopped (Eg possibly being kissed) by the driver. I'm afraid it looks to me as though the passenger is wearing knee-high boots, but I suppose that could be a trick of the light...

It's interesting that the Police have only let the parents put out one message for Libby to be found and that was before PR was arrested, wasn't it? If the Police thought someone else had taken her or done something to her, wouldn't they be getting the parents to appeal again publicly?

Can't help feeling that at this stage now, we're all going over the same old stuff day in and day out with absolutely no further updates from Humberside police at all since more or less the beginning. We're all guessing and it's become a bit outrageous although I am open minded to a degree.

I feel sad for this girl, she has pretty much clearly come to harm in some way, shape or form.

My absolute theory is he picked up in that car next to the bench, no idea what happened after that but I really feel this PR guy is very well connected in the community in a discrete way, the Polish community. He has a big family, delving into that and all the connections of all the various people, it seems there's plenty of them where he works, not to mention landlords of his nationality, gym owners and so on.

I think the ultimate answers are within that community. I don't feel he has acted alone either.

I don't feel the police have an idea at all what has happened, I can't believe they will do these repetitive searches in the same spots every day now. It's just gardening really, they're seen to be doing and it's almost embarrassing to see a couple of hours a day strimming bushes. They even went under water the other day and came out after an hour or two. Why was that? What was the point in doint a few straight lines with divers in a large lake? All of this I feel is a massive smokescreen, no way will the police admit they are stumped. For them to suddenly turn round after two weeks and say " she may have come to harm " is very alarming - IE, they have no idea.

I don't even think either of them actually got to the park.

He's either dropped her off somewhere and someone else got involved.

I would gamble my house that she isn't local, he seems to have covered his tracks exceptionally well to me.

Think I'll be taking a back seat and just keep my eyes on the press for the time being, it drives me mad going round in circles all the time.

Excellent coverage by the locals with the photos, videos and local knowledge, I'm familiar to a degree with the area.

Lets hope she is found one day, and soon preferably. Best wishes to everyone.

So now we know that most 24 year old men put on their glasses in private? that's useful.
