Depends where she thought she was heading mayhe. I took my coat off before getting in to a taxi in Prague two weekends ago, was snow and -6. Everybody is different.

I still wonder if ir waa him, if LS knew him.

Yes I do see your point , I’d maybe take mine off if going for a long car journey but ‘2 minutes up the road home’ I’m not sure I would after I’d been sitting for ages on a bench in the cold plus it’s only a thin jacket not like a big warm proper winter coat

Would you take a coat off though , very cold that night , I’d keep mine on in a car

I could see someone incapable being helped out of a jacket by a standing person. Agree L would be borderline hypothermic at this stage - those poor bare legs, on such a night - so I read it as someone v helpless being divested of a layer of clothing, so the driver can ogle her better as he drives.

It was after another poster's helpful recommendation to slow down the footage using youtube that I felt I could see the awkward movements of one arm then another arm being freed, then the jacket placed in footwell.

A phone even if us humans delete will still have a footprint. I guess maybe and it's all maybe's that the Police can put PR in the area and his phone back or whatever backs up him having her address and that's all they have, which doesn't prove her abducted her or worse.
Any subsequent searches of the area and home would suggest it hasn't provided anything further.

I had tea with my friend last night who has a ‘sensitive’ Job in Hull, <snip>
She said that trafficking is rife in Hull and that’s what she thinks that could be what happened to Libby, although she did think Libby was older than the girls who would usually be targeted.

Could the suspect have seen Libby, drunk and vulnerable, made a call/sent a message and she was then bundled into a car/van and driven away?

Not sure if it’s been shared but I found the attached which was interesting! I live 35 mins away from Hull and I didn’t know about this until researching this case. That would be a big story in our area too.

I not sure about the abducted for trafficking theory but your clearly not the only one who is considering it.
From page 12 ;
<snip>
The man from the local press was of the opinion that trafficking was involved. If that is the case then it darkens the whole aspect in many ways. 1) It means that PR is possibly working for someone who offers him more protection/danger than the UK authorities 2) She could have been anywhere in the country very quickly that night. 3) These people may already have networks/facilities in place to move people very quickly and completely off radar. 4) Which also means that they may be well practised on the theory and practise of stealth while committing crimes, and leaving very little trace.
So the local press people are apparently talking about the possibility of trafficking.

My sat nav takes a lot longee than 20 seconds to operate, putting an address in google maps on my phone a lot quicker
He doesn't appear to be a law abiding citizen so could have done it while driving down haworth street ... it may not have been a proper sat nav ... I use Google maps but refer to it as sat nav ...

What's the mood like locally?

Do people seem think they have the right guy even though he hadn't been charged with anything related to Libby?

People are showing a lot of concern for her and seem to be hedging their bets on the guilt of PR.

There are plenty of people that have him hung drawn and quartered and decided he is guilty simply because he is "🤬🤬🤬kin' foreign", but that does not seem to be the general consensus.
