Agree, I doubt murder was his intention but I am certain he set out that night with the intention of raping a girl and that it went wrong and resulted in Libby’s death, whereas Sutcliffe and Bellfield and Halliwell etc set out with the intention of murder

I agree that murder probably wasn't planned and that something may have gone wrong, but also remember that there are still plenty of people who wouldn't view going out to have sex with someone who is very drunk as rape. He may not have seen anything wrong with it and may have done it (without an issue) on many occasions before.

Unfortunately the Police licenses for google maps were heavily cut under the Tory austerity programme in 2016

Wow, I didn't know that !

Highly unlikely he burgled student let houses, one thing burglars don’t like is being disturbed and with student houses (4 or 5 to a house) and lectures at varying times there is a good chance he would be caught in the act

Less chance of being caught burgling a single occupancy house or one of a married couple who he would know from staking out the place that they work and leave/come back at set time

Saying that though, students do have a fixed schedule of classes so if he observed a property for a while he could probably find a time that they're usually out. Students also generally leave during the holidays, so if he looked up the term dates he'd know when people were away.

If PR is guilty of murder it seems such an ill-judged thing to do, totally indiscreet on the one hand picking her up as he did but thereafter apparently having the savvy to remain unseen and leave no trace , it seems too inconsistent. And then he leaves the incriminating sex toys in his house (i theorise).
Judging by what we know and the indiscretion that led to his speedy detection id imagine the police should have alot more evidence on him, if they dont have more evidence against him maybe he is telling the truth and he did just picked her up and drop her off, guys do just pick drunk girls up and more often than not its well intentioned or at least not sinister.
Its hard to imagine murdering a drunk girl by accident, if he did, it was with his full wits about him for his own good reasons.

Strange comment. It's very common thing for young people these days.

If you read it in context it says laptops are left lying around sex toys not usually. I may have worded it badly but was trying to say sex toys are usually stored out of public view (mums pop in to visit etc) whereas we all leave our laptops, speakers etc in public view.

So did he break into the house to grab what he could to sell, eg laptops, and the photos, knickers and sex toys were a bonus. Or was it the other way around? If the latter was the intent to frighten the owners? Would fit in with the flashing.

I don't think he set out to murder that night.

If he is guilty of the public penis flashing and the stealing of sex toys then I think he has simply got bored of these crimes and decided to step it up a bit.

There could be other crimes/assaults that he may be charged with yet too.

But it's not a big stretch to me that he has simply escalated from his flashing etc... to wanting to carry out an assault on someone and it went too far.

But I doubt his ultimate aim when he went out that night was to murder...think he would have built up to that eventually though.

All just my own opinion of course.

Then where is she?

Oh I don't think it was murder by accident, just that he didn't necessarily start the night with the intention of murder. I'm sure if he is guilty of what he's been charged with he was probably thinking he can get away with anything. If you throw enough truth into a conversation it makes it harder to spot the deliberate lies.

There is a big difference in meeting up with a girl in a nightclub who is a bit worse for wear and pulling her and what he did which is seemingly cruise the streets trying to find a drunk girl he can take advantage of which is seemingly the case with Libby, I have been guilty of the first on lads holidays in Ibiza in my youth etc many of my conquests like me were drunk as a skunk, but it never crossed my mind in my life to drive around the streets trying to find a drunk girl i can force myself on

My guess would be he forced himself on Libby, she resisted/ran/screamed (choose any or all of those options) and he put his hand over her mouth to silence her and she died of suffocation, it was probably not his intention to kill but blame lies with him

True but if they are away for a month over xmas or whatever they will take their possessions with them, certainly things like laptops/ps4/probably dildos/certainly underwear

I agree they're worlds apart, but unfortunately there are people out there that don't have a problem with the latter.

That's a good point especially for electronics! But I can see people leaving sex toys and you might not take every piece of underwear you own.

It may not have been a student house. A neighbour said the area is a mix of student housing and families. I don’t think we’ve been told who the occupants of the houses were/ are?

No, we don't know what kind of house. Earlier in the thread someone said it would be unlikely that he'd target a student house so I was just thinking of reasons why he might :)

And as I replied to you earlier, sex toys and underwear are usually kept in very predictable places. He would know exactly where to look for them.

If he is guilty of being a flasher/burglar, possibly a killer what crosses my mind is what drives him to it

He has a wife, he has 2 young children including one born a couple of months ago, just what drives someome with a stable family background to act like this?

If he is guilty of killing Libby he will end up not seeing his kids grow up except behind a screen in a prison

How on earth am I to know.

I'm giving my opinion not fact.
I know. I'm just saying that if it was accidental I think she'd have been found fairly easily. I think there was a degree of premeditation even if it was just theoretical initially.
