Well HopeForGoodNews lost her quote button, weather almost tropical in Lincs, but apart from that......not much ;) :D
I know we can’t quote things from Facebook so I’m going to try and be very careful here.

A very popular outlet has interesting comments under an article and a picture. This picture is of a similar person wearing a coloured jacket like running to walk man in cctv. Has anyone seen it and wondered could this be him?

When you say outlet.. what do you mean by outlet? Shop, club, etc?[/QUOTE

Methinks you
People seem to be of the opinion that he first came into the police's investigation on the Sunday when they were handed the Howarth St CCTV, as MSM also got hold of that footage the same day and were asked not to release it by the police.

My own opinion is they got the footage and asked the media not to release it because they wanted him under surveillance .

The media obliged and didn't release it till after he had been arrested for abduction, even then they only released very select snippets of 20mins worth of footage.

So unless they had their eyes on him much much earlier than that he could have driven her anywhere I suppose.

Didn’t one of our members say there was a police presence on Raglan Street on the Saturday?

Re "Who do you phone?" (@Strontium69 re possible accomplice):

His mum said he has "seven brothers and sisters". She lives in Poland with "four younger sons aged from 11 to 18". He has two sisters so that presumably leaves one brother unaccounted for.

Doesn't have to be family...he may have friends in the area that he is close to.

Dont remember that to be honest but possible.

That probably gives him a 48 hour window of opportunity to dispose of the body/cover up his tracks before police were monitoring him, god she could literally be anywhere within 100 miles of Hull

I agree. The police searched that area the next day 50 officers and 200 cadets Haworth street was one of them places. The very next day on the Saturday they started searching the pond and the park. I believe they new his car early on. They know when he was around Oak rd. And have him leaving Oak rd returning home on cctv. The search would have gone further out if he's car left Hull.

Interestingly Police have expanded their search to the North of the Park;

Today they were searching gardens along RIVERSDALE ROAD:
Police search neighbours' gardens in desperate hunt for missing Libby Squire | Daily Mail Online

The other day I posted a video of an exploration of the norther border of the park, which is where Police switched their search today.
2:00 It is not entirely clear from this video, I may have to go back and get photos/videos to highlight this;
BUT THIS FAR NORTHERN POINT IS OPEN TO CARS,

Which means it is possible, and always has been possible, to get a car all the way from Sutton Road Bridge right along the river bank on top of the embankment, right into the park and up to the pond. Not sure how significant that may be, but this is supposed to be inaccessible to cars, but the gates are in bad repair at that far northern tip.

(1) The first part of the video I give a view of this entrance and a vista of the park from this far North Western entrance.
(2) 2:00+ I leave Sutton Road at the Bridge, and follow the bank to the park.
3:40 Pedestrian steps that lead down to the end of SILVERDALE ROAD, the one next to RIVERSDALE ROAD.

the line in red shows the route ACCESSIBLE BY CAR.

I had previously discounted this part of the park, until I examined it for his video, and found it to be easily accessible by car.

Interestingly, this is where the Police have been searching today.

RIVERSDALE ROAD is the road that forms the NORTHERN Boundary of the park, and ends at the River.

Good Morning, I have found your videos very helpful thank you. Obviously you know the lay out very well, but I am interested to know if a car could park on the other side of the bridge on Sutton Road or is there cctv cameras around there. Looking on Google map there does seems to be a kind of lay-by coming from the opposite way and looks like cars could drive into that and take you right to the embankment. Interestingly too, a friend of mine who lives in Hull discussed LS being missing last week and I asked where they thought a body could be disposed of quite quickly and without hesitation they mention the Sutton Bridge as there was parking for up to four cars there. I wasn’t really sure where this person meant as I have never been to Hull or surrounding areas. But now seeing your video it has made it clear the area we were discussing.
So just wondered what your thoughts are on this.

Of course. Heck of a favour to do a friend, though!

Interestingly Police have expanded their search to the North of the Park;

I have pondered on this... it's likely Libby went to Piper, it's very much a student place like Welly. Perhaps he has encountered Libby or some of her friends and that put Wellesley Avenue on his 'mental map'.

Had he previously used Haworth Street to park when he was offending along Wellesley 10 days previously?

Had he advanced from randomly driving around, to actually zeroing in on certain individuals? Had he previously made some form of contact with Libby, whether positive or negative?

I think it’s rather possible that PR would normally cruise down the Avenue by the Piper (Kindergarten), however, I believe The Piper closed for refurbishment early January for a few weeks, so likely the cruising then took place down Beverley Road. I believe the Wellesley offence took place whilst the Piper was still closed, which has maybe led him to other areas. I’m not convinced he’s unrehearsed in his actions.

Yes I agree of course I do.

Unless it started off as 'can I borrow your car.

But then the average person would have informed the police straightaway.

I know it's far fetched even as I'm thinking it I know it's a stretch.

Thank you for your videos, they bring back my memories of Hull and remind me how comparatively small it is to other cities.

The police obviously have reason to keep going to the park and I suspect it maybe because he took her there in the car and it's the last place his phone pinged after he turned it off.

My guess would be things went wrong inside the car and he realised he was in deep so turned his phone off. Now at this point I would imagine he wouldn't risk taking her out of the car for fear of being seen. His route to work goes through some rural places and I would imagine that would be the safest place he could think of at that point in time.

Could he evade ANPR cameras leaving Hull in that direction do you know?

Next ping 3am when he returns home and turns his phone back on.

I agree with a lot of your thoughts. I don’t feel they got out of the car either!

Yes that all makes good sense.
Personally i still think he was acting alone , he either hid the body near the scene of the crime in the oark road park wellesley area and it simply hasnt been discovered because the police havnt put the manpower in.
or he took the body away in his own car . I feel he very well might have just taken her home and left her in the car and got rid of her the next day as he simultaneously watched all hell break loose on the telly, and then subsequently cleaned his car soon after. In the circumstances it may have felt safer taking her home with him rather than leaving her out in the wild , plus he just may have wanted to keep the body for a bit.
We dont know what forensics the police found in his car , it may have tested positive for a corpse , we dont know.
If everything is testing negative for a corpse then theres something else happened , like a second car which i dont think likely, or shes been abducted alive to a different location and then who knows whats come of her , trafficking ? unlikely, PR took her to an empty house and stowed her there intending to come back for her and subsequent events prevented him.
If there was a brother in the picture then that would open up some new possibilities , but otherwise i dont see him confiding in or involving anyone else.

But what if he went home at 3am, and parked his car up then knocked and borrowed someone else's and went back out (possibly leaving his phone at home).....

Is this why LE asked Raglan St residents if they had seen anything unusual on the street on the night/morning of 31st/1st?

If he was arrested on the Wednesday evening does anyone know whether he was at work Monday/Tuesday? wondering if any media or police said

They should be extending the search area to woodland/fields/layby’s etc on his route to work

Not disagreeing with your thinking BrianJ, just that I think the search Hull to Malton is impossible. There are so many routes possible, very rural. Its futile to even search along one route I would say unless they have some info...

Im not sure SVS.

Maybe I'm stupid for even thinking another car could be involved to be honest.

At this point it is all still wild guesses I suppose.

My mind runs away with me ;)

Im not sure they had much info early on. On one Of the early news reports (the day after she went missing) it had a student saying police had said her last known whereabouts were on campus. Which contradicts they saw or knew something from the start that made them launch a full missing person investigation very early on.

I definatly think the earliest he was on the radar was Saturday (someone mentioned police on Raglan St then) or Sunday when they got the cctv footage.

Unless of course they had footage from another camera even earlier.

Ah no - I get what you mean, just the time you gave in the video is a completely different building!

I'll check again, but I went in there...

Sorry!

Sorry - don’t know why it comes up as 6:52 when I watch it! Might need my eyes tested :/

Anyone remember The Valentines Day murder in Hull? Think 2005, he was called Dyson, murdered his girlfriend, took five weeks to find her body. Found in a wood near Malton. Admittedly likely to be more cctv available now to capture someone leaving the city, but, possible perhaps.

What was the timeframe between Libby going missing and PR getting arrested?

Would he have had time to dump her body in a bush that night and go home and then return to the park the next day and pick up the body and drive out of Hull with it for instance?

I think he was arrested on the Wednesday, so 5 days
