No signs of remorse

Relowicz was taken away by the two dock officers after the verdicts were delivered.

As with the rest of the trial, he portrayed no signs of remorse. He remained silent and just stared straight ahead.

Libby Squire trial live: Pawel Relowicz found guilty of murder and rape
Much like our Claremont serial killer, and others. He will never tell what actually happened. Still try to retain power and control.

Thanks to all for the updates and reports, and excellent analysis the last two years. Your community spirit is amazing.

I'd say subconciously disregarded it in an effort to try and strengthen their opinion...I can't think of any reason why they would try to look through the judges summary
In the long run its the jurys decision on what they take on board. Personally (imo anyway) trying to drag inference from an expert opinion is pointless...because any side of the fence could drag snippets from the post mortem and highlight them to suit ... the difficult part is realising that when you desperately want to justify your thoughts
The jury have been in court to hear everything, I personally doubt that they remember everything. So they ask the judge to clarify and remind them of some detail/s. I think if they only needed to know that the judge concluded that the pathologist's report was inconclusive, then why did they need to be in court to hear the report (along with all the rest of the evidence) themselves?
There is a reason why the judge didn't just sum up the total evidence and tell them the verdict.

Anyone heard from @Newthoughts

Hope she hasn’t passed out from the relief / excitement!!

An excellent outcome for all regardless of any points any of us have made during the trial process!!

The best justice Libby’s family could legally have gotten!

YES!! (Only just caught up). I was worried for a minute there that it was going to be a hung Jury. I do genuinely think he did it and that guilty on all charges was the right decision and the justice libby and her family deserved.

A massive thank you also to all the websleuthers who followed this case and trial from overseas, taking time to read up on our court procedures and sentencing rules. Your knowledge is invaluable! Really hope you will join us on other cases, too.

It’s really lovely to know that Libby’s tragic story has touched all corners of the world.

Justice has been done.

So relieved and happy with the verdict. Those jurors have worked hard to get to this point and really considered all the evidence. Hoping for a long sentence tomorrow

So this whole time it was one juror...!
Not necessarily, some may have changed their minds throughout the deliberation.

I think they sometimes are Holly, or at least they can be purchased

Legally's your man for that info @Legally Bland

Thankyou Alyce. I would really be fascinated to find out more details of what HDM were perhaps not able to condense into their reporting. Perhaps more will come out now the trial is over?

It can’t have been - they’d have returned a verdict as soon as the judge allowed a majority

Group hug to all of us. It’s been a long two years. Libby you have justice. My thoughts are with you and your family and friends.

Anyone think he might put in an appeal?

Its on bbc news now

So this whole time it was one juror...!
Absolutely not- otherwise they would have returned very shortly after they were told it could be 10-2. Guessing at least three, two changed their minds during todays deliberations.
