I think I’d be off like a shot as well. It’s just all so sordid.
Plus, even if you still support your husband or are in denial, her house is ruined and a "crime scene," so she likely has nowhere else to go. She probably is in desperate need of support and family around her, and I would not want to be in the eye of media or other onlookers, which she surely would be if she were still in town.

When he came in, he seemed to do a quick scan of the court room, as if he was expecting someone he knew to be there. But no one was there to support the suspected dildo thief.

I asked my girlfriend what she'd do if we were in this situation and she said she'd go on all the news channels saying I was innocent. I asked her would she not think it would be suspicious if I gave a girl a lift home and then she disappeared and she said no because she knows that I'd never do anything like that!
Maybe PR's wife doesn't trust him! Is she allowed to go to the papers and give her opinions or not?

She wouldn't be doing herself or him any favours if she did.

Besides no paper would print any story like that while a trial was pending they would be jeopardising the whole trial.

Maybe after trial we will hear more about what kind of person he is and what his relationship was like.

Don't expect we will hear much of anything until then (assuming it goes to trial) if i was him I'd be pleading guilty taking whatever punishment is thrown at me and getting the hell.out of dodge once released before they find something else.

Would that suggest he’s not welcome where his wife is staying and doesn’t have her support, despite him pleading and would like us believe he’s not guilty? Or possibly the Mrs is in Poland and he would not be able to leave the UK?
What’s your thoughts folks!?

No way of knowing, but personally speaking I would be taking my kids as far away from him as possible if I suspected at all that any of the allegations/ charges were true. And from his perspective, definitely wouldn’t want to return to an empty, boarded up house which had been plastered all over the media along with my mug!

Well his wife and children have to be staying somewhere??
Before the charges when msm were still pursuing his family his mother said she was getting updates from his wife in the UK. They also said she was staying with friends.

Since then he's been charged with unrelated offences so there is nothing more about her.

Which suggests they were together until his arrest.

Something I heard from a reliable source.

As has been said above MSM won't say a word about him now he's been charged.
Thought it may have been in MSM prior to being charged, great you have a reliable source. Anything else you'd like to share?

I wonder what has prompted this out of the blue? Surely Libby being anywhere around that house is ruled out?
They seem to have taken quite a lot away with them. I suppose that's normal?

Not now he's been charged even if it is with unrelated offences.

They can't question PR about Libby because they've had their 96 hours.

Perhaps his wife said something?

There is a good reason that the Police were so keen to find the 4 people highlighted in the Feb 19th CCTV.

It's more likely to be follow up, either from case review and/or from results of earlier forensic tests.

Me too. I'd be horrified.

I do wonder how he concealed the items he stole.

That is making me feel a little bit sick. Imagination running riot. And a just a little bit more scared for my daughter in Hull.

There is? I thought none of those people came forward yet? What's the reason?

His solicitor said in court that there would be no point in applying for bail, when his house is all boarded up. Strange, but true.
How many cases have had the house closed off like the Raglan St house? I’m not assuming anything as such but interested as I’ve not noticed this before...

Hull Live has neighbours saying they're taking away more evidence bags. Are we allowed to reference Hull Live?

Yes, it’s fine, Newthoughts.
