OK Thread is closing until I don't know when.

DO NOT GET PERSONAL WITH EACH OTHER. REPORT POSTS AND SCROLL BY.

I do not know how else to tell you all this so you will understand.

Here you go...big font in red.

STAY ON TOPIC AND DO NOT GET PERSONAL. THIS THREAD IS NOT ABOUT YOU AND WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT ANOTHER POSTER.

It does seem he was lucky enough to get into those houses over weekends when nobody was in (unusual in HMOs)
Probably a daft question so sorry in advance but if someone was able to unlock a door or window without leaving any noticeable evidence of the lock being tampered with, would it be possible to then leave the door or window unlocked when exiting to fool the owner into believing that they left it unlocked?

Did we ever discuss why a couple of the charges spanned dates? Obv householders away at time so unable to be exact on date is an obv one. Students/Wkends? Hols? Has the Burglar staked out the properties and observed repeated patterns of absence?

Could Trespass be used other than for house entry? I.e entering gardens or yards?

Who keeps 'those' items in gardens and yards?

Not sure but bet a locksmith would be a good at burgaling.

Suppose most new Windows and doors would be quite secure..older ones not so much.

That kind of trespass would be a civil matter.

The span of the charges is most likely as you say, person was away and therefore can't be more precise. No forced entry so nothing for other occupants to notice.

Or didn't feel the urge to use it for a few days

When he came in, he seemed to do a quick scan of the court room, as if he was expecting someone he knew to be there. But no one was there to support the suspected dildo thief.

Sorry I may have missed this but was this a quote or did you view this?

One point which may have already been mentioned: Why would PR tell his sister and mother he had picked up a distressed girl in the first place if he had ended up harming her? Surely it would have made more sense not to mention it at all? Could he be telling the truth that he had just given her a lift?

He could have told them when he made his phone call while in custody.

Maybe he was an Ann Summers party host :D
That would certainly explain his ease of getting into houses and his having so many vibrators and knickers!! His ideal second job!

IMO
I think he was already at the police station and was originally arrested for investigation of LS disappearance and I think LE confronted him with video of himself and his car and LS and I think he had to admit it to LE that he picked her up so he gave them a "story". Then he had to tell his loved ones something about why he was not coming home.

Some think he only told his wife and then she relayed his story to his Mom and Sister. This sounds most logical to me. He could have phoned home trying to get bail money too. Hard to say but I do think he was in LE hands and that is why he told his relatives the same "story" he likely told LE.

Yeh I'd go with this theory too if it's true he told his family that.

We don't have the bail money thing over here like I'm the US though.

But maybe they do in Poland and he didn't know that he wouldn't need it over in the UK? Not sure.

Side note - In the UK you don't need bail money ... bail here doesn't involve money at all.

To refresh people's memories,
PR was first picked up by LE for just the investigation into LS disappearance. LE had some reason to believe he was involved or they would not have hauled him in. My guess is it was the CCTV videos of him, her, and his car.

Then as the deadline was about to expire where they could only hold him so many days of questioning then LE did find other evidence of the burglaries and the other perverted crimes and then slammed him with those charges to hold him more and not have to release him.

So even though his only current charges involve the burglaries and perverted crimes, there is no doubt that LE main goal is to try and see if he is responsible for LS disappearance.

I like your thinking on the other points

Not putting me at ease about my home security here ;)

I can't believe how easy it is to pick locks! It seems like everyone can do it but me. Lost my key, my ex says no problem, pulls out this thin tool, a little wiggle and Bob's yer uncle! My friends son used a paperclip to just pop open the padlock on the gate the other day. ........ so easy!
