As an aside, and I apologise if this destroys anybody's thinking, but we pronounce Haworth differently to the West Yorkshire village of Brontë fame. Students are always mucking up on this.

If you were taking your dog for a run in the Park, would you likely choose Beresford or Pearson, if both were about the same distance?

Good question. I might have to put the kettle on for this one. Are you wondering if a particular person had a dog and might've had some familiarity with a particular park?

Haha. Hmmm.Wonder if he had the dog with him. Good excuse to go out on a night, take the dog for a run. More importantly, where is it now!?

Sorry, your reply sneaked in before my edit. Was there a dog? If I lived on Raglan Street, it would be Beresford Park.

Could that be how he got LS into the park, if indeed he did. Just need to let my dog out for a wee!

Pearson Park has a lot of drifters, drunks and druggies there. It’s even worse in the Summer when they are all staggering about and shouting, usually in large groups. I’ve seen a lot more dog walkers/dogs on Beresford/Oak Road playing fields.

You’ve seen him, what sort of dog do you think he’ll suit? A dark one that’ll fit in the footwell of a car!? Haha

Can’t say I’m surprised.

That's exactly how I'd do it. There's no sense in continuing further north along Beverley Rd only to have to come back on yourself, and using Heathcoate is similarly pointless. Beresford Ave is closest to local shops and pubs, and would likely be her established route.
Heathcote would still be a cut through if libby lived at 32 even more so no 15 would it not?

In court tomorrow for the new charges.

I can’t say that’s come as a surprise to be honest... I wonder if yesterday’s searches were relevant to this or directly to LS?

Re dog, I've found the MSM link: it was in the Daily Mail, from PR's neighbour John Garrity. All he says is, he had kids and a dog.

Police arrest man, 24, over disappearance of Libby Squire, 21 | Daily Mail Online

A cute dog in the back seat might be another reassuring sign (like a child-seat) as you entered a stranger's car. However if it had been there I would have expected PR to take it with him on his stroll to the bench, for that very reason.

Does this mean that even if PR gets a suspended sentence on March 11 he will still be remanded for these 7 new offences?
