A witness has stated they are searching a cesspit at Old Kingston rowing club.

ETA - looks as though they've left now.

They still seem to think the park is the key to this. They need to be searching it thoroughly not just a few minutes here and there. This should have been done in the first place. I feel for Libbys family and friends when searches are conducted for a few minutes here and there.

I always questioned why there was never a grid search of the park. It seems only logical if LE thinks the park is key in the investigation, whether to find Libby or evidence. It also always seemed odd to me that the public, volunteers, etc. never arranged for a search...or is that less common in the UK - or in a somewhat urban area?

I think @Strontium69 identified it on a recent post. It's certainly over by the pond/river/benches, though. If the man himself isn't around, I'll sort it.

There was public assistance with the initial search of the Beresford Avenue area, but this didn't extend to the park and ceased quite quickly.
