Maybe, but I wouldn't read anything into that as a lot of people would always do that, same as reversing into a parking space. I've noticed that it's something men almost always do - leave the vehicle positioned ready for departure.
My husband always maneuovers our car when parking so that he is 'facing the right way' to drive off.

First thing on Friday when the police appealed for GB to come forward why did they also not also appeal for PR if he approached Libby At the bench.

There is a quote from source from one of tabloid newspapers that the police knew was abduction from start. Which I'm trying to find.

So maybe that's why?

The previous low tide was around 2130 IIRC.

My opinion - they'd already identified him via his car registration, and that had a certain significance.

Can you describe what you think you see, @Audiohoney? A bag being put in the back seat through the passenger door?

(I thought I could perhaps see an object placed in the footwell or even someone seated being "helped" out of their jacket.)
I also thought 'belongings' were being put on the back seat - not a jacket,as Libby would've been too cold to take it off. Maybe hot food or drink had been bought as a 'kindness' to warm her up but the suspect knew they wouldn't really be needed straightaway.

If we're talking about quotes.

There was one in a tabloid paper.

Quoting a source along the lines of "The police knew she was abducted from the beginning behind her house on Beresford Avenue"

Can anyone find it?
Can’t say I ever heard that one.

I’d suggest with 2 small children, likely on quite a low wage he was working as many hours as possible. I think that’s quite usual for factory workers and every polish person I’ve had dealings with are exceptionally hard workers, putting in hours and hours.
I obviously don’t know in PR’s set up but many often send money home to the family too. Hence the hours.
Def agree, this is my experience too. Most employers prefer people to opt out too. We ask a lot of workers these days. An employer won't consider the commute time either, duty of care doesn't normally extend that far.

I’d
I’d heard they couldn’t figure it out . One minute she was there on the main CCTV . The camera swings around as they do . When it goes back she was gone. The cctv didn’t show her exiting any of the roads. It was like she’d vanished. Of course she hadn’t , PR had got her as it turns out.....

I’d heard that before they arrested him which makes me think it was true, because it transpired it actually would have been viewed that way on cctv

I am trawling through MSN and can’t find either the quote from the resident around how two men appeared to share the car (I am certain I read this, I remember exactly where I was when I read it) and I also can’t find the list of 7 questions which where sent to Raglan residents referencing “do you know who owned the car/ did anyone else use it? Who lived in the house etc etc. I’m still looking but it does appear at the moment like articles relating to someone else using car may have been removed IMO

In the mean time there's this - VISITOR'S GUIDE TO 'ULL

Fabulous find :D. I've not seen this particular list but it sums us up lol. Thanks for translating for the non-hullensians :p

Nah.

More likely, if all the papers have removed the same quote, that they've been asked to by police. Given that the theory of an accomplice has been mooted, I think it's quite pertinent that the car share reference has vanished.

I'm gonna have to go back through the threads. Pray for me.
Good luck. I'm no help I keep spelling "neighbor" wrong :(

Maybe the Oak Road cyclist was on his way to give someone a croggy, eh.

I would take anything the sister did or did not say with a massive pinch of salt.

We don't even know if Pawel said anything to his wife or sister (sister could have said it thinking she was helping him by making up a story about him helping a girl).

Also a lot of things could have got lost in translation.

The sisters comments don't even enter my thoughts when thinking about what happened that night as I just don't trust how true or accurate they are.

Just MOO though.

To be honest, we can't even be sure that PR and LS were definitely the people seen in the Spidercam footage, we can just assume based on what we know of LS's last known position at that time.

I'm not male but I do it too especially if there is a larger turning area than there may be if someone turns up to park. I don't read much into the way his car was facing to be honest.

I was going to say. What made LE suspect PR in the first place? We can't see his face at all in Spidercam... I deduced that it must have been ANPR.

Given that Libby had self harmed (certainly on her legs and arms) wouldn't that still be evident? Would scars like these be gone after 7 weeks in water?

She has been identified so it's a mute point. Is it necessary to bring up her scars?

Police immediately had her full room and belongings, untouched, at their disposal. That would've provided them with a wealth of information early on in the investigation.
I’m not sure it’s a switching off, I think they are absolutely of the mindset that once people die, they (the pathologist) are in a privileged position to provide answers for those left behind when there is little else most can do
I will look at google. I was just thinking of where he was parked and the direction, where the bench is sort of thing. Is the bench on the other side of the street from where he parked. I have been trying to figure this out in my mind almost since the beginning, not sure why it has taking me so long to ask.
The end of this video will answer that question

@Officer Dibble mentioned it a few times in thread 1 (around page 65), but the links quoted no longer mention it.

Honestly, I think this might mean something

Also whilst talking about MSM quotes and did/didnt the police find evidence at ORPF. Does anyone remember the white forensic tent that was 'apparently' errected at the playing fields? It was a few days into the search and HullLive were still running live updates. At one point it was said to be confirmed a tent had been errected but Libby still hadnt been found, then later a statement said no tents were in the park although it didnt seem clear if they meant presently or ever. I cant remember if i was reading it here or over on their FB page.
Anyway, at the time i thought that if they HAD errected a tent but not found Libby that would indicate some other evidence that perhaps they didnt want the media/public to have sight of, especially given it was just after hammer/lipgloss/screwdriver gate.

Edited to add i will try to find a link but dont fancy my chances given i remember it being on a 'Live updates' link.
