If PR ends up being tried for LS's homicide, there's the risk that jury members would know of his recent previous convictions. That's worrying in terms of him getting a fair trial isn't it?

That would be the case for a lot of trials I'd guess. Outside of Hull not a lot it's known about the case anyway.

I think if she'd seen him before she'd have run a mile from him. I wonder if she had knowledge of an a very recent incident in her street and that was what led her to go to Beverley road that awful night. Better lighting, shops, bus stops. I think that's what I'd have done in her position. Gone to a place that would seem to be safer.

But we'll never know for certain

I do wonder whether there is still more to consider, hence the result not being reported, even with the reporting ban being lifted.
