Victims of sexual offences are entitled to anonymity so yes, victim impact statements may have lead to identification of the victimsInteresting, what would be deemed as sensitive?
Maybe victim impact statements?

That would be the case for a lot of trials I'd guess. Outside of Hull not a lot it's known about the case anyway. If PR ends up being tried for LS's homicide, there's the risk that jury members would know of his recent previous convictions. That's worrying in terms of him getting a fair trial isn't it?
Of course, but I've read somewhere about jury members getting into really serious trouble for that (eek!)You’d totally Google!
You never know!Maybe LS that reported him down her street
It could be to protect the identies of the victims of his theft/voyeurism/indecent stuffery
The 1992 Act imposes a lifetime ban on reporting any matter likely to identify the victim of a sexual offence, from the time that such an allegation has been made and continuing after a person has been charged with the offence and after conclusion of the trial. The prohibition imposed by s.1 applies to “any publication” and therefore includes traditional media as well as online media and individual users of social media websites, who have been prosecuted and convicted under this provision.27The offences to which the prohibition applies are set out in s.2 of the 1992 Act and include rape, indecent assault, indecency towards children and the vast majority of other sexual offences.
you did indeedAh, that’s what I said earlier.
I think if she'd seen him before she'd have run a mile from him. I wonder if she had knowledge of an a very recent incident in her street and that was what led her to go to Beverley road that awful night. Better lighting, shops, bus stops. I think that's what I'd have done in her position. Gone to a place that would seem to be safer.Maybe LS that reported him down her street
Hmm, the hearing is finished but does that mean sentence has been passed I wonder or if there’ll be a further date to allow judge to consider the arguments on both sides
That's a thought, yes.We needed someone there this week! If he is free to go, I can see how they might not want to get all the crazees out in front of the court to harangue him and create a furore over him being guilty of LS involvement.
