Pawel Relowicz on trial for Libby Squire murder court updates

I'll be posting them here too :)
Hiya, great to see you here too, I wonder if he will change his plea last minute like he did before x

A slight delay in proceedings
Relowicz has been led away from the dock and Mrs Justice Lambert has risen after an issue with the necessary people being in the court room. They will return once the matter has been resolved.

Hi everyone, posted a few posts here ages ago. Can’t believe it’s two years. From hull and still only live just outside of hull. Friends of friends were affected by pawels sexual harassment.

Hoping justice prevails for Libby and her loved ones.

Me too Kelumbo

It's great to see everyone back to follow the trial.

Fingers crossed theres justice for Libby and her family, however no sentence he receives will be enough for what he has put them through

Just skimmed the HDM thread. I find the picture of PR standing across from the deep at the mouth of the River Hull particularly eerie now given Libbys likely final journey. Surely they could use a different one.

As a local it was Libbys case that 1st brought me, like many of us, to Websluthes. I've followed many cases since then and is crazy to think that so many of them have been resolved and tried/sentenced already but it has been almost 2 full years since beautiful Libby went missing and her poor family have had to wait all this time for what must be such a dreaded day. My thoughts and love are with them as they have to go thro something no parent should ever have to.
I don't normally judge someones guilt until all the evidence has been heard but in this case there is no doubt in my head that he is the guilty party.

I wonder if his wife will testify against him? I dont know why ive always thought she shopped him in to the police . Interested to see if im right.

I think the police saw him putting Libby into his car from the CCTV and it is why he was first arrested for abduction. I hope I’m wrong though, because I hate the fact that I watched the footage especially if that is what was happening.

Yes that cctv is harrowing. Did she cover at first and say he returned home not long after hence the release.

I didnt think he'd plead guilty. Poor libby's family have to sit through all the evidence now.

I hope that they have concrete evidence that it was him and his not guilty plea goes on to give him a harsher sentence

I also believe the CCTV led police to him, iirc it wasn't released by police it was taken to the media as the police didn't turn up to collect it? I'm sure there will be much more cctv of the area around the time that can confirm PRs movements, hoping so anyway.

Yes I think you are right. We discussed on here early on that there was possibly cctv covering the bench or surrounding area thsts how they knew libby was on or near to the bench.

The judge is addressing the jury
Justice Lambert has told the members of the jury: "There is an important difference between my role and yours.

"The law is for me, the facts for you, the jury. It is my job to make sure the trial is a fair one and is conducted according to the law and the appropriate procedural rules. There may be times when issues of law arise.

"Ultimately, at the end of the case it will be your decision having heard all of the evidence, having listened to the barristers what the verdicts will be."
