Was there a favoured house or spot on Newland? Makes you wonder if he was stalking someone in particular.

I don’t know, probably just because it was central studentsville but the revisit on foot & “strange behaviour” makes me wonder if he thought he’d dropped something ( or went to try and retrieve condom which was later used in evidence)

It's always locked outside of 'office hours'. There's a park ranger based in the blue cabin at the left of the car park.
The house where the guy woke at 12.14 is to the right? I guess we will find out more this week but so far we are told, I think, that he saw a man running away from the direction of the river. The river is say to the back of and to the right of the house and I wonder which direction he meant.

I'm not sure, and we've no real way of knowing that. I assumed it was either that house, or one of the houses along Claremont Avenue which back onto Oak Road and have views across the playing fields.

Thats interesting I dont know why I was convinced it was that house. I have not looked at Claremont Avenue houses.

It wouldn't surprise me also if the defence try to make something of why she was "happy" to go with him but not others
Although she doesn't appear to be scared of the others either. Could it be that she was annoyed or frustrated that they didn't understand rather than scared. Whereas PR didn't have to understand her address - he already knew where he was going

I wonder if there were any incidents as he was growing up or before he left Poland.
I wondered this too but i wasn't sure how long he had been in UK? Perhaps if he was younger when in poland might not have done anything too serious there yet.

This has really bugged me. Not once did libby mention her mum to another witness.

I thought she may have said it to not let him know her house was empty but her house mate was home.

Did she say it because she was scared? Or did she not say it all. I suppose only PR knows this. I get the impression he got a kick out of scaring women based on his previous convictions though.
She didn't mention her mum to any other witness but she did say she wanted to go 'home' to a few, while walking in the wrong direction for her student digs. It could explain why she didn't enter the house when she was dropped off outside it.

Thats great thank you for posting. Might make much more sense that the witness was from one of those houses. Oh the hours I have spent trying to figure out the direction of the running man from the other house next to the car park!

I think his mother made an early statement to the press saying she was suprised he took the butchers job in England 5 years before as he was scared of blood or something. I am not sure how accurate my recollection is though.

My apologies i didn't make it over to Libby's bench or Oak Road today, I had something else come up, I am hoping I will get there tomorrow.

In terms of him having a particular interest in certain people. I spoke with the sister of one of the boxing day house share victims at the time, she said there was an awareness of him around Newland Avenue and they knew he was Polish too. One girl he had been stalking for 18 months and she even moved house because of him but he found her and continued to "stalk" her. She was a young single mum not a student, just happened to live around the area, it was why I wasn't convinced he was specifically targeting students at the start, rather any young women. I still think it just happened he lived in the student area so there were plenty of young student women who fit his criteria rather than specifically targeting them because they were students, there were definitely other young women who weren't.

To clarify this was within the general community rather than the student community.

Likewise with the 'sketch' incident, which fell off his charge sheet. That isn't a student street, just in the area. I wouldn't be surprised if the flashing, which took place the summer before, further along the same street was related.

It seems that reporter was in court today because there are a few details which weren't mentioned in the live tweets.

I went into Libby's bedroom and discovered that nothing had moved.” Her phone which she had left in her room was still charging."

--

For some reason she started swearing,” he told the court, explaining how she started calling him a ba****d.

He said her behaviour was changing all the time.

“One minute she was all right and the next swearing,” he said and at one point she asked him to give her a hug, when he declined she started swearing again
."

Yes she did say that, I just quickly found the article as i wanted to refresh my memory of some of the details.

“I was surprised when he got the butcher job in England but he was reluctant to take it - he needed money to support his family,” said Marzena, speaking to The Sun in February after Relowicz was initially arrested."

Don't think so at that time cos his previous recent offending had been around the student streets.

Likewise his prowling that night was a trawl of student areas. It's possible that he's seen at that spot particularly because it's got CCTV not because he's specially chosen it.

It's actually quite a small area housing most of Hull uni's students. He really doesn't travel far at all.

His trip to the dark deserted park earlier and his later prowl around after checking followed by his wank makes me think he'd planned something and might have offended again that night.

Makes you wonder whether his wife was abused or raped by him.
