Lifeboat crews recovered Libby's body
Drew Baxter is part of the RNLI crew at Humber Lifeboat.

He said they were called out to a report that a body had been spotted in the water.

He said: “We were commencing our search. The tides were coming in. When we arrived we commenced a search of the area. Within five minutes we received a further radio message that another boat had a visual.

“We found the Cleethorpes RNLI lifeboat on the scene. We pulled alongside the body in the water. I set about organising the crew.

“I was stood in the recovery well and I noticed three or four earrings and a gold necklace around the neck. I could see a black sports bra and that was it on the top of the body,a skirt and black and white trainers. We made our way to Grimsby docks.”

Jamie White was also on duty with the RNLI.

He said: “On arrival in Grimsby I stopped with the casualty until the police arrived. We were asked to unzip the pouch and I could see a necklace with the letter ‘L’ on.”

Statement from woman who discovered condom in Alexandra Road
Nina Hallwood is a student at the University of Hull.

She was taking part in a search for Libby on February 2.

She said: “Her disappearance struck a chord with me. The search was organised for mid-afternoon and we were instructed to meet up at the student union building.

“Our route was to walk along Alexandra Road on to Newland Avenue and then to the student union.

“We walked on the left hand side. Not long after the health centre I noticed a condom right in the middle of the footpath.

“I commented to my friends to ‘watch out’ and not to step on it. I thought nothing else of it at the time. We were back at our accommodation by the time we called the police to tell them. I told the police where I’d seen it.”

Clever girls how many people might have ignored it

No because didn't the witness said after the last scream he went to the loo then came back?

Could Libby have been screaming from the moment she left the car at ORPF ?

This stacks up to me because this could be the point that she realises she is in trouble. Before that time he could have said I missed your turn sorry i will just turn around up here. This first scream could be what woke the witness up but he doesnt remember as he wasn't awake enough yet.

In the Grace Millane murder, her killer Jesse Kempson had just strangled her to death during sex (potentially rape) and while she was laying dead on his hotel room floor- he took intimate photos of her AND ... searched 🤬🤬🤬🤬 sites.

Men like this are simply wired wrong. Possibly not from birth (though potentially) and I believe that Internet 🤬🤬🤬🤬 and the ease of accessibility has only created even more monsters that look just like any other man you pass in the street.

@mrazda71 absolutely agree with what you have said regarding 🤬🤬🤬🤬 accessibility. I also followed that case. It cant just be a coincidence both PR and JK watched 🤬🤬🤬🤬 after their crimes. I find it shocking how the younger generation are normalising strangulation during sex. Its almost glamourised and seen as the 'in' thing to do. I think young men are exposed to hard-core 🤬🤬🤬🤬 even before their first sexual encounter, it has to affect their 'sexual development' in some kind of way and also the way they view women.

There’s some cctv on Hull Daily Mail online, showing him at 3.05am (Only 3 hours after Libby gets in his car)walking around Newland Ave (now in joggers, easier to masturbate in?)
By his police interviews he is very savvy about cameras, more so than the average person. He’ll know he’s on these cameras.

My mind boggles that in that sense, he’s so brazen. He goes back for a third visit to orpf (to collect something/hide Libby’s body/masturbate?) then goes home, changes and then goes back out for a walk. All the while knowing this will be caught on camera. No ounce of laying low. It’s hard to get my head around it.

It’s such a shame we’ll not hear from his wife. With two little ones at home, a wife and dog he certainly wasn’t playing family man during his nighttime and early hours.

Maybe he didn't have a clue about CCTV at the time he was starring on many. Maybe it was only after the date that he found himself here and came across us all discussing how there's loads of cameras around that area and he must be on plenty of CCTV :D

I cant help but think because he was never arrested for his previous crimes he got 'cocky' with the cctv either thinking they were of poor quality or maybe not even working.

Could he still hear screams if moved to a different room (toilet) ?

How long did it take him to exit from the park after leaving her ?

So many variables

I also think that he may have been aware of some but not all the cameras

Have been a teacher for years and I agree. It's accessed at a far younger age and some of the lads mag stuff of a few years was hate filled misogyny.

There was a world of difference between what we confiscated when I started which was naked women and fantasy stories of consent from the top shelf to the eye level lads mags where, the language was absolutely vile

And that was not what was accessed online

It's everywhere! I'm nearly 50, when I was a teen - 🤬🤬🤬🤬 was mag pages scattered in the park that shocked passers-by or those shops with blacked out windows ... Now, I regularly come across hard-core 🤬🤬🤬🤬 on ... TWITTER. I spend an hour reporting profile after profile after profile 'til I can face no more! Tgey do eventually get removed but it can be weeks until that happens.

Kids in primary school all seem to have smart phones, few worth any parental settings or supervision.

I could go on and on - the damage done so carelessly is infuryating.

Yes agree. The brain is neuroplastic. If you repeatedly look at things the brain accepts this as normal. The brain knows no difference between fake laughter and real laughter by the way so if you exchange this scenario for sex of extreme nature then you can see the brain would normalise it and recognise it as something that really happens a lot - so in the realms of looking at extreme 🤬🤬🤬🤬 you would acceptance of the brain. The brain requires patterns of behaviour to normalise things in neuroplasticity.
